日舞
Mizukyさんのダンスを見に行きました。毎週火曜日に行われてる、ショウというより皆で一緒に踊るという感じだった。
今回の舞台は臨時セットで、後ろのお城とのコントラストがよかったです。
Visited a dance show held by Mizuky. It is on Tuesdays. It is rather a dance party than a show. The stage this time was temporary and had interesting combination with a castle behind.
ご自分で作られたダンスなのだそうですが、日舞というよりマリオネットを見るような楽しさ。
とても可愛いお顔。こういうのが私たちの考える東洋人なんだって思った（＾－）
The dances were made by Mizuky. It was not Japanese traditional dance but interesting one like marionette dancing. Her face is lovely that we think Oriental cutie.
いつもショウを見に行くときの地味な外出着だったんですけど、一緒に踊るのなら着替えればよかった。
でも偶然ご一緒したMizukiさんもラフなスタイルで、二人だけ浮いてたかな（＾－）
I wore a conservative street costume that I always use for theater going since it would not show off, but I should wear kimono if I knew that I also dance. But Mizuki who happened to sit next to was also in casual clothes. Were we two not belonging in?
ダンスは天女の舞で空中に浮かぶタイプ。和服よりダンス衣装のほうが似合ったかも。
久しぶりに一緒に踊ったけど、やっぱりMizukiさんかっこいいね。また皆で踊るときがあったらぜひ誘ってください！
For a change the dance is in the air. Dancing clothing might be better than kimono. I danced together with Mizuki after a long interval, she is cool as usual. Please take me out if there is any chance to dance together.

西洋の東洋
23日、早起きしてUWAのアートイベント、「西洋から東洋への道」を見に行きました。
プレゼンターのRLが嵐でネットの調子が悪かったこともあって開始が30分以上遅れ、ほとんど見ることが出来ませんでした。
映像プレゼンもPhoenixでは見れなかったようです。そのかわり観客に来ていた素敵なアバターの写真を撮りました。
1人しかお断りしてないんですけど、掲載をお許しください。
I rose up early on 23rd and visited UWA art event, The route from the Occident to the Orient. There was a storm in RL at the presenter’s zone and the net was not in good condition, the start was delayed more than 30 minutes, so I missed the major part of it, but anyway it seemed to be impossible to see the video with Phoenix. Instead, I took pictures of interesting avatars there. Only one of them I noticed that but please allow me to put them here.
テーマに相応しくオリエンタルムードのアバターが多かったですが、欧州の方々にとって、東洋とは日本や中国ではなく、中東のことのようです。
シルクロードの時代とは違い、ビルの立ち並ぶ北京や東京は東洋の不思議な魅力を失ってしまったのかも。
There were many avatars with Oriental mood along with the theme. For European people, the Orient may not be China or Japan but the Middle East. Different from the era of the Silk Road, big cities with skyscrapers like Beijing or Tokyo may have lost their mysterious charm as the Far East.
会場のチャットはドイツ語だったので翻訳機が役に立ちました。
でもプレゼが始まったらドイツ語のボイスに英語の字幕が最初しかつかず、何だかわからなくなった（； ；)
私は偶然ドイツ娘の服装をして行きました。和服に日本髪で行こうかと思ったけど、このテーマのオリエントには合わなかったでしょうね。
The chat at the site was in German but a translator was effective. But the presentation was done in voice and the script in English was only for the starting portion, so I could not make head or tail. Incidentally I was there with German girl costume. I wondered if it was better to wear Japanese Kimono, but it might not fit the theme of the Orient.
上の絵の左上の人魚（？）さん。初めて見るアバターで、すごく滑らかできれいでした。メッシュアバターだったんでしょうか？
The avatar on the top left of the above picture was a kind of mermaid I have never seen before. It was very smooth and beautiful. Was it made of Mesh?

バグ名人？
馬場でダンスしてると、バグの出やすい人と、全然出ない人がいます。
この方は多い方なんですけど、昨日はグレー、煙、別人、自分だけ、と1日で全部出してた！
At the Baba dancing, there are some who often have bugs and some who seldom do. This one is rather frequent bugger. Yesterday he had everything, gray, smoke, different person, and oneself-only.
最初は読み込み遅れでよくあるグレーのボデータイツで、結構かっこよかったんですけど、気にしてリベークしたら焼けすぎて（＾－）煙になってしまった。
自分ではちゃんと見えてるんだそうですけど、ダンスするのは不便。それでリログしたら今度は全員が見えたのに本人だけが煙だって（＾－）
で、見えた姿は別人バグ（自分のアバターとは別の、リンデンのデフォルトアバターになってしまうバグ）
「テミのPCがおかしいんだ」なんて言ってたけど、そうでないよ。いつも皆さん優しいから黙ってるだけだ（＾－＾）
The first one was the popular gray bug due to lag that was somewhat cool, but he did not like it and re-baked. Maybe he was over-baked and became smoke. He can see himself normal but it is inconvenient to dance with him. Then he re-logged and became visible for us all, but it was smoke that he can see himself. Also the figure we saw was a different-person-bug (a bug that brings in the Linden default avatar instead of own one). He said it was because of Temi’s PC, but it is not. Other person would not tell you because they are tender.

スキー
馬場集会所の次のイベントはスキー旅行になりそうなので、スキーを探しに行きました。
これは装着型で、いくつかアニメーションが入っています。
Next event of Baba will be ski tour, so I looked for a ski set. This one is wearable type and includes several animations.
滑りながらキーを押すといろいろなフォームがとれます。上はスプリットイーグル、ヘリコプターターンもあった。
残念ながらNisekoのスキーと違ってターンのアニメは矢印キーと連動はしていません。でも転ぶことはないです（＾－＾）
Tricks will come in by touching button while skiing. The above is sprit Eagle. There is also helicopter turn. Different from the set at Niseko, the turning animations are not related to the arrow keys, but no worry to tumble.
スラロームだけはうまく作動せず、前進キーを押すと歩きだしてしまいます。
作者に伺ったら、リンデンビュワー用に作ってあるので、Phoenixでは作動確認していないとのことでした。
これも一種のバグと言っていいでしょうね。結構楽しい動きですけど（＾－＾）
余談ですけど、Phoenixではアバターについて動くカメラ位置が調整できないので、歩いてる姿を後ろ以外から撮るのは難しいのです。
これは左キーを押し続けてぐるぐる回らせ、その間にシャッタを押しました。
上はスローモーションで撮りました。Advanced→Character→Slow Motion Animationsです。でも遅くなるのは自分だけです（＾－）
Slalom animation does not work properly and it starts walking by touching the forward moving key. I asked the creator and found that this set was made for Linden viewer and Phoenix was not confirmed. This could be a kind of bug, although the animation is joyful. By the way, Phoenix does not have avatar camera set option like Linden viewer, so it is hard to shoot myself sideways while walking. This was shot during walking in a circle by keep pushing left arrow key. The above was taken using slow motion. Advanced, Character, and Slow Motion Animations. That affects oneself only.

LEAフルSIMアートの1月作品が展示されています。
Artistide Depresの 「ハックスリーの世界に囲まれた私の象牙の塔を見つけたら、そこはオーウェルの世界へと変化した」
どうしてこんな長いタイトルを付けたのか、というインタビューに対し作者は、
SIMにはガイドや説明を置かないためにこのような説明的タイトルが必要だと思った、と答えています。
911以来、世の中はハックスリーの世界 （SF小説「すばらしい新世界」の機械が極限まで発達し人間が尊厳性を見失う逆ユートピア） から
オーウェルの世界 （三つの大国により分割統治される統制社会） へと変った、ということがテーマだそうです。

Asked the reason of such a long title at an interview, the artist answered "I think the installation needed such a title-explanation as I decided to avoid text or navigation on the sim itself" Also he said that the main theme is; Since 911, the world has changed from a Huxleyan one (Brave New World, a science fiction describing future world with highly decelopped machine and human lost their identity, a counter Utopia) to Orwellian type of society (highly regulated one controlled by only three strong nations)

Some bugs were flying. Adjusted the sunlight and found numerous bugs! This is set to be a symbol of something wromg happening.
ゴキブリかと思ってぞっとしたら、よく見たらタガメでした。
でもタガメも小さな蛙を食べてしまうくらい獰猛な虫ですから、大きかったら怖い・・・
I was afraid if this was Cockroach, but second look confirmed that it was Giant Water Bug, which is so ferocious that it can eat small frogs. It should be awful if they were so big.
どこへ飛んでゆくのか追いかけたら、街外れの海の中へ飛び込んでいました。
I followed them to find out where to go. They were jumping into the sea at the end of the city.
この箱がタガメ発生器のようでした。すごい勢いで流れ込んでいるのですけど、SL のカメラは全然ぶれずに捉えることが出来ます。
これらはアートのほんの一部なので、ぜひ現地を見てください。
This box should be the bug generator. They are pouring into it with hectic pace, but SL camera can take them without any blurring. This is only a part of the art. Please visit the site.

卵の中に座る巨人の頭の上と足元にまた卵があり、その中にまた同じ人物、そしてその傍にまた卵！
Near the head and foot of the giant lady sitting in the egg, there are other eggs again respectively, and there is same person in each egg, then again an egg next to her.
上の絵の頭の上の卵の中を覗いている私。「編集」でここまで拡大縮小が出来るんでしょうか？
I am looking into the egg situated at the head of the giant lady in the above picture. Is it possible to enlarge or shrink to this extent using Edit?

会場のSIMの反対側から見たこの作品です。高さが50ｍ以上あります。会場には沢山の自画像アートが展示されています。
The art looked from the other end of the SIM. The height is more than 50m. There are many self portraits presented at the SIM.
前回のSuzanne Gravesの「プリムの中のスザンヌ」をもう一度。
積み重なる三角形は色が変わり前後に移動します。変化はランダムのようで、見ていて楽しいです。

3D自画像展
UWAの新しい3Dアート展を見に行きました。今回は3D自画像展です。25作品が展示されています。
Rose Borchovskiの「怒るベス」 メッシュを使ってるので恐ろしいほどの写実感。この少し老けた海女さんが何に怒っているのかわかりません。

Visited a new event of UWA. UWA 3D Artist's Choice Challenge; 3D Self Portraits. There are 25 arts presented. This is "Angry Beth" by Rose Borchovski. Since it is using Mesh, it is terribly realistic. There is no explanation what this old lady diver is angry at.
ベスはこの作者の別のアートのテーマでもあるそうなので、そのSIMを見学に行きました。「二匹の魚」という不思議なアートSIM。
スーザ・バブルという少女のお話。朝目覚めたらベッドに自分が二人いた。その後段々と増え、33人になったところで止まりました。
同じ姿をし、同じように転び、良いことも悪いことも、そのお話がSIMのあちこちに展示されています。

This artist said that he has another art SIM and this lady will be the character, I visited the SIM. A mysterious art SIM titled "Two Fish". A story about a girl named Susa Bubble, who went to bed single, and woke up double. It came again and again, and ended up with thirty three Susas. Same shape, same face, good things and sad times. The story is presented over the SIM.
中央のエノキダケみたいなのは、一緒に転んでしまう33人のスーザ。
上に浮かんでいる球は目玉で、このSIMのテーマらしくあちこちに沢山あります。海女さんの水中メガネも目玉だ（＾－）
The middle picture like Enoki mushroom is thirty three Susas falling jointly. The sphere floating above is an eyeball that seems to be one of the main characters of this SIM and there are a lot of them. The glasses of the lady diver are also eyeballs.
お許しを得て作品をそのまま載せます。飛んでる私はいたづらしてるのでなく、絵の前に一緒に転ぶポーズボールがセットされてるので、作者の意図です（＾－＾）
なぜベスが怒ってるのかは分りませんでしたので、作者に伺いました。そのお答え：
「怒るベスは私が製作中の新しい物語で、基本的にベスは全てに怒ってる。お話は、彼女が行方不明の子供を探すのです」
Put the picture here with permission. I am not blocking up but there is a pose ball for falling together, so this is the artist’s intention. But I was not able to find out why Beth was angry so I asked the artist. Here is the answer. "Angry Beth is a new story which I am developing; basically Beth is angry about everything. The story is that she is searching for her lost child."
UWAに戻って、Suzanne Gravesの「プリムの中のスザンヌ」 メッシュとは正反対。
三角形がランダムに重なっているようですが、離れてみるとやわらかい女性の顔が。これは鼻の部分です。
Came back to UWA, "Suzanne in Prims" by Suzanne Graves. This is an opposite way to Mesh. It looks many triangles stacked, but becomes a soft female face from a distance. This is a nose part.
Dusty Canningの「箱の外を考える」 箱に貼ってあるテクスから、手と乳房だけが3Dで作られています。これは作者のコメントがありました。
「箱の外を考えるということは、UWAのアートチャレンジにいつも参加しているアーティストたち皆に要求されること。
そうしないと過去に作った作品のクローンを作り続けることになってしまう。
私が作品を出さなかった月は箱の外を考えることが出来ず、何もアイデアもインスピレーションもなかったときだ」
"Thinking outside the Box" by Dusty Canning. The hand and breasts were made three dimensionally out of body depicted by flat texture. There is a comment of the artist. "Thinking outside the box is something required by every artist who enters the UWA art Challenge on a regular basis. If not there is a tendency to continue to produce clones of the work that you have done before. The months I have not submitted an entry are the months that I have been unable think outside the box and therefore find no new ideas or inspiration"
Rose Borchovskiの「怒るベス」 メッシュを使ってるので恐ろしいほどの写実感。この少し老けた海女さんが何に怒っているのかわかりません。

Visited a new event of UWA. UWA 3D Artist's Choice Challenge; 3D Self Portraits. There are 25 arts presented. This is "Angry Beth" by Rose Borchovski. Since it is using Mesh, it is terribly realistic. There is no explanation what this old lady diver is angry at.
ベスはこの作者の別のアートのテーマでもあるそうなので、そのSIMを見学に行きました。「二匹の魚」という不思議なアートSIM。
スーザ・バブルという少女のお話。朝目覚めたらベッドに自分が二人いた。その後段々と増え、33人になったところで止まりました。
同じ姿をし、同じように転び、良いことも悪いことも、そのお話がSIMのあちこちに展示されています。

This artist said that he has another art SIM and this lady will be the character, I visited the SIM. A mysterious art SIM titled "Two Fish". A story about a girl named Susa Bubble, who went to bed single, and woke up double. It came again and again, and ended up with thirty three Susas. Same shape, same face, good things and sad times. The story is presented over the SIM.
中央のエノキダケみたいなのは、一緒に転んでしまう33人のスーザ。
上に浮かんでいる球は目玉で、このSIMのテーマらしくあちこちに沢山あります。海女さんの水中メガネも目玉だ（＾－）
The middle picture like Enoki mushroom is thirty three Susas falling jointly. The sphere floating above is an eyeball that seems to be one of the main characters of this SIM and there are a lot of them. The glasses of the lady diver are also eyeballs.
お許しを得て作品をそのまま載せます。飛んでる私はいたづらしてるのでなく、絵の前に一緒に転ぶポーズボールがセットされてるので、作者の意図です（＾－＾）
なぜベスが怒ってるのかは分りませんでしたので、作者に伺いました。そのお答え：
「怒るベスは私が製作中の新しい物語で、基本的にベスは全てに怒ってる。お話は、彼女が行方不明の子供を探すのです」
Put the picture here with permission. I am not blocking up but there is a pose ball for falling together, so this is the artist’s intention. But I was not able to find out why Beth was angry so I asked the artist. Here is the answer. "Angry Beth is a new story which I am developing; basically Beth is angry about everything. The story is that she is searching for her lost child."

町内会初詣2
7日は馬場の常連さんたちで初詣へ。しっかり雪が積もったムードのある神社でした。

New Year's visit to the shrine on January 7. It was a nice shrine with atmosphere covered with snow.
馬場の仲間が珍しくおとなしく記念撮影（＾－） ポンタさんはいつもと同じ。右の二人は世話役という訳でない。
雪の上には巨大猫の足跡が。ここはどういうわけか猫神社。そういえばKazumiさんってちょっと猫っぽい？
For a change, Baba members lined quietly for memorial photos. Ponta is as usual. The two on the right are not facilitators. There was huge footmark of cats on the snow. This is Cat Shrine for some reason. By the way, kazumi looks something like a cat?

口開きバグ2
周辺SIMのイベントで重かった日、また口開きバグが（＾－＾） アバターが沢山いると出る、リンデンのラグのいたずらみたいです。
フルSIMアートの閉会式も沢山アバターが集まってましたが、私はSS撮るのに夢中で観客の顔を見てなかった。
でも主催者のHaveitさんのお友達が後で彼に話しかけてきたとき大きく口を開いてたそうで、証拠がまたひとつ。
彼は優しいので、エレガントな彼女にはそのことを教えなかったと。
ダンスバグと違って自分ではどうしようもないので、見て見ぬふりするのがエチケットかも。でも自分で分らないのが怖い。
周りに誰もいなくても混雑したSIMでキスしないことね。うっとり目を閉じてるつもりが、大口を開けてたのでは・・・
One day when a heavy event was held at adjacent SIM, the open-mouth bug came in again. It seems to be a sign for lag by Linden. At the grand finale of the full-SIM art, there were a lot of avatars but I was busy in shooting SSs and did not see avatar faces. Haveit the organizer witnessed one. One of his friends that came by to talk later had her mouth open wide; hence the theory of high lag must be true. But he tender-heartedly didn't tell her about her mouth because she is a most elegant woman. Different from the dancing bug, there is no way to fix this one, so it might be a good manner to look the other way. It is terrible that it cannot be realized by oneself. I should avoid kissing in congested SIMs even though there is no one nearby. I would close my eyes in a trance, but could be dropping jaw…

There was a person who saw her own mouth opened. I will be careful. She said, "It was so heavy that my artificial teeth dropped." But it was a wrong conversion of "I dropped every time I entered" In Japanese word processor, HAIREBA can be converted in both ways.

7 日は皆で初詣に行きます。集合は日本時間7日22時、馬場野外音楽堂前です。
馬場に時々お立ち寄りになる皆様も、チップ不要のダンス広場を覗いてみようという方々もこれを機にぜひお出でください。

A short trip for year’s first visit to the shrine will start at Baba. Assembly point is Baba Amphitheater, 5:00 am SLT on January 7. Not only occasional guests to Baba, but also new comers who would try a free dancing spot are highly welcome. There is a big billboard next to the ice skating rink. I jumped in it.
