TEMIのセカンドライフ

ひさしぶりに某所のフォトコンに応募しました。
指定テーマなし、トリムも修正もなしのSSでしたが、半分は通る一次選考に二枚とも引っかからなかった。構図と視線に苦労したんだけどな（； ；）　
左は街の中にあった土管、右は住宅街に迷い込んで不安げな異星人の姉妹。SLに最初に来たときはこんな感じだった。

For a change, signed up in a certain photo contest. No special theme, no trimming, no touch up, and as-is in 512*512 format. But both pictures were eliminated from the preliminaries although half of the applicants were qualified. I worked hard to get the composition and the eye lines. The left is through a clay pipe sitting in the city. Sisters from an alien planet who found their way into human residential block and were feeling lost. This was the situation when I started SL first time.

Visited a garden of a friend of Mizuki. This will be closed just before the White Day. Very romantic garden in the sky, but regret to say that the partner was my sister.




キスをせがむ妹の表情があまり可愛かったので・・・　立場が逆で相手が彼だったらいいのに。
でも大好きな人がゼロでは仕方ないか（＾－）

The facial expression of my sister waiting for a kiss was so cute. I wish if the tables were around and the partner were him, but there would be no chance since the person who I love is zero.

  

メキシコSIMにあるマヤ遺跡です。ピラミッドを探していて見つけました。これは宮殿の跡。
歴史や遺跡には興味はなかったのですけど、ネットで見ると実物そっくりです。
中を歩くと、昔実際にこれを作ったひとと、SLのオブジェクトを作ったひとの気持が伝わってくるようで不思議な感動があります。

Palenque, a Maya ruins in Mexico SIM. Run into while searching pyramid. This was a palace. I have not been interested in historical ruins, but It looks the same as the original that I can see in the internet. It generates a magical charm when considering the person who built these, far distant past and now in the SL.




フリーで配布されていたそれらしい衣装で。男性用もありました。私はもともと色黒だから、似合うよね（＾－＾）
Wore a free cloth to look the part. There is also free clothing for male. Does it fit me, since I have a dark complexion?

  

パンドラ上空のステーション、今までカメラだけ飛ばしてたけど、実際に外へ出てみました。ちょっとした宇宙遊泳気分。
ハブは最初にTPする場所で、スポークの先はショップエリアへの転送ゲート。どうもここしかLMを作ることが出来ないようです。
パンドラは結構ルールが厳しいみたい。適切なアバター、衣装、行動、言語（！）など、森に入るときはガイドラインに注意が必要です。

The space station above the planet Pandora. I flew a camera last time but tried to get out really. Somewhat like a space walk. The hub is the welcome station where we TP first time. The arms are transfer gates to shopping area. Maybe this station is the only spot where an LM can be set. Seemingly there are several rules and regulations, such as proper avatar, clothing, behavior or language! Please pay attention to the guidelines. The vender area seems to be free access.




ステーション外形は実体があり、座ることも出来ます。でも周囲の宇宙は巨大な箱の内面に書かれた絵です。
時間帯によっては惑星でなく一面の星になる。このときは箱でなくて球の中です。
私が見つけた出口はまだ誰も使ってないようで、今のところ私ひとりだけの空（＾－＾）　

The outer shape of the station is a real structure to be able to sit on. The planet and the space are painted on inner surfaces of a big box. Sometimes it becomes a starry sky that is not a box but a sphere. I found several exits from the station, but nobody seems to use them and this is my private space so far.

A friend introduced this strange SIM. It spread also under the sea and there are many pose-balls.




誰もいないと思ってみんな脱いじゃってたら、突然上の方からお友達に呼びかけられてびっくり！　
見られはしなかった（と思う）けど、ヌード禁止のとこもあるから、気をつけなきゃ（＾－）。

I saw nobody around and took off all clothing, but suddenly a friend called me from the above. She did not see me (I think) but I should be careful since some SIMs forbid nudity.

  

先日の「唇！」の表情HUDをNA’VIのアバターに使いました。理不尽な人類への悲しみと怒りにかなり合ってると思う。
でもこれを私の顔でやったら、ひどいこといなるのは想像できますよね（＾－＾）

The facial expression HUD was used on the na’vi avatar. I think the sorrow and anger against the outrageous humankind are depicted aptly, but you can image terrible results if this HUD is applied on my face.




惑星パンドラでのRPGはまだ本格的に始まらない。
住人は沢山いるのに人間側の医者や科学者の役をするメンバーが集まらないのだそうです。当然だよねー（＾－＾）

The RPG in the planet Pandora has not started in full swing. It is said that there are a lot of na’vis but not enough members for human role such as doctor or scientist, as might be expected.　




でも、人間の基地に迷い込んだら中にいた人に　「うっ、NA’VIだ！　ブッ飛ばされる前に出て行け、この青物！」って。
But when I entered a human base, a person inside shouted, “Ugh, na'vi. Get out of here before I blast you to pieces, blue thing!”

  

SLに映画と同じパンドーラでのRPGがありました。
映画のアバターは出演者になんとなく似てたので、私もなるべく自分に似たアバターにしました。コンバットなしのビジターとして。

A RPG using the same situation of the movie is in SL. Avatars in the movie showed some resemblance to the actors, so I selected one that is close to me, as a visitor OOC, no combative.




今日は上空の入り口までしか行けない。下の惑星は地球みたいなので、まだ宇宙ステーションまでしか来てないんだな。
それともこれは偶然アフリカ大陸そっくりの地形を持つ惑星パンドーラ？　

It was possible to reach only the entrance in the sky. The planet below seems to be the earth. It means that I only got this side of space station. Or is it the planet Pandora that has the same shape as Africa by accident?

  

ユーヨーク在住の弟が一時帰国しました。
貿易センタービルの幻が残っている街角で名物の蒸気噴出に乗ってみた。

My brother returned home temporarily from the USA. Tried to float in the popular steam blowout on the street of NY where the phantom of World Trade Center is standing.




立ち並んだビルは、どれもテクスだけで、以前紹介した未来都市のように中へ入れないのが残念。
以前先っぽに立ったクライスラービルやエンパイアステートは見つかりませんでした。別のSIMだったのかな。

All buildings are made of texture and cannot be entered like the futuristic city I introduced before. Was not able to find the Chrysler Building or Empire State on which I stood at the tip last time. That might be a different SIM.

  

ピラミッドをサーチして飛んで来たら最初にここへ到着したので、変な場所だなと思った。
視界512mの威力はSIM全体が見渡せることですね。SIMひとつ256mだから、左右2個、合計12個以上のSIMが見える。

When I was searching a pyramid, the LM brought me here at the first time, and I thought this as a strange place. A merit of the draw distance of 512m is to have a bird’s eye view of a full SIM.　Since one SIM is 256m, it is possible to look around more than 12 SIMs.




同じ構造を並べただけの安直？なつくり。一応お店になっていて、いくつかは売ってるのですけど、靴とか、腕時計とか結構高い。
これもお店だから紹介しちゃいけないんだよね（＾－＾）

Easy construction by setting the same simple structure repeatedly. This is a shopping mall at the least and some shops are open, but they are rather expensive such as shoes or watches. Also it will be prohibited to introduce a shop here.

  

こももちゃんのブログで紹介のあった、素敵な景色の場所へ行きました。
平面的な映像ではなく3次元の地形！　わあ、スキーが出来る、って飛び出したら、サンプルなのでファントムでした（；－；）

Visited the nice view spot introduced by Komomo’s blog. This is not a wall picture but a three dimensional terrain. I jumped out to ski on it, but this was a sample and phantom.




ここは地形のお店で、空にいくつものサンプルが上下に並んでいます。砂漠も、海も、畑もありました。
でもスケールは合ってないので、実際の広さはありません。お店なので場所は紹介できないな。

This is a landscape shop with many samples layered in the sky. There are desert, field, and island. But they are not in real scale. Cannot introduce the place here since this is a shop.

  

素敵だったので、また行きました。ビルの中に個人の住宅らしい部屋がいくつか。ゆったりとしたスペースに家具もデザインも統一されています。
しばらく住んだら飽きそうだけど、素晴らしい！　つい正装してしまう雰囲気。

Visited again since it was so nice. There are some rooms for resident in the buildings. The furniture and interior are set in a unified way in the ample space. It may grow weary of, if lived for a while, but it is gorgeous! There was some air that made me dress up.




アクセス制限がかかっていないけど、持ち主がそれぞれいるので、勝手に入ったらいけないんですね。
でも時差の関係か、誰もいないので（＾－＾）　もし家主の方の目に止まりましたらお許しいただいて、ぜひ一度招待してください！

There was no access control, but it may be out of manor to go in since they seem to be private space. But there was nobody probably because of the time difference. If this blog were noticed by the owner, please accept my apology and invite me once.




なにか動いているのでびっくりしたら、ネズミ！　
こんな近代的なビルでは住むところもないんじゃないかな。それとも　「マウスルック」で監視？　

Surprised to find something moving, it was a rat. He may not be able to find home in this kind of advanced area. Is he a security staff with “mouse-look”?

ガラスと光がふんだんに使われていて、海外旅行気分で隅からすみまで全部歩いてみたい素敵な場所。

Visited the future city introduced in a blog of Shin the cameraman. Glass and light are used abundantly. It is a fantastic place where I would like to walk through every alley with a mood of trip abroad.




ありがちな現実の壁をテクスにして貼ったのでなく、奥行きを感ずる存在感のある世界。
モールにはお店もあるのだけど、並んでいる商品が見劣りしてしまう（＾－）

Instead of pasting simply the actual real life texture, it is a deep world with substantial presence. There are some shops in the mall area, but the goods rather look being outshone.




透明テクスをうまく生かして、細かいところまで作りこまれています。バーのお酒とグラスの棚も素晴らしかった！　

The details are made meticulously using transparent texture effectually. A shelf with many glasses and liquor bottles in a bar was also cute!




中央部の塔は大きなガラスのオブジェ。素晴らしいセンスとテクニックに感激。
中央のゴミは私。ここは飛行禁止なので、高いところへ上がるにはちょっとコツがいります。

There is a huge glass art at the middle. The gorgeous sense and technique really got to me. The black stain is me. Flying is prohibited in this area, so it needs some trick to climb high.




ほとんど誰もいないんだけど、光に溢れる街並みに包まれていると、日頃の恋しい人がゼロの寂しさがどこかへ消えてしまうさわやかな温かさ。
都会の夜の不思議な安らぎです。

Almost nobody was there, but the city with exuberance of light provided me with an exhilarating warm, that made me forget the loneliness of recent date of whith the cause is zero. Strange consolation by a night in a big city.

  

Mebiusさんのブログで紹介のあったミニナリエに行きました。
名前の通り、ちょっと小さいのですけど、夜空に浮かんで、気分は最高！

Visited Mininalie that was introduced at a blog by Mebius. It is small as the name says, but feels great floating in the sky.




お勧めは深夜設定なのですけど、夕暮れや早朝の設定もきれいです。前に邪魔なものがあるという方は、実際に行ってみてください。

It is recommended to use midnight setting, but sunrise or sunset is also fantastic. If the silhouette is annoying, please visit the site.

  

万里の長城に刺激されて、ピラミッドを探しました。
あまり大きくなかったけど周囲は飛行禁止。歩いて登りました。下に見えるのはエジプトの町かな。

Quested a pyramid after seeing the Great Wall. This one is not so huge. Flying is prohibited at that area so I climbed up by foot all the way. The town below could be a Menphian city.




内部は墳墓になっていて、棺も安置されています。上に乗っている犬（アヌビス）はとてもきれいに作ってありました。

There is a burial chamber inside and a coffin is set at the middle. The dog (Anubis) sitting on is of very fine make.




このアヌビスは外で買うことが出来ます。エジプト学者のキチマルさんなら、自宅に置くかも（＾－）　右はネコ（パステト）。
最近は海外を出歩くときはこのアバを使っています。ひとりでふらふらしていても何となく安心感がある。SL始めたころは人が来ると逃げてました。

This Anubis is on sale outside the Pyramid. Kichimaru the Egyptologist may put this in his yard. The right is a cat (Pastet). Recently I am using this avatar when strolling abroad. It gave me some kind of security feel with this avatar. In the early days in SL, I used to chicken out when someone is coming close.

  

Komomoちゃんのブログで紹介のあった、Maoへ行ってみました。万里の長城は、SLで一番再現しにくいものの一つじゃないかな。
ピラミッドは底辺が230ｍくらいだから、丁度SIM一個で出来そうだけど、長城は（＾－＾）　これはSIMひとつの中に収めています。

Visited the Great Wall in Mao SIM that was introduced at Komomo’s blog. The Great Wall could be one of the most difficult objects to be reproduced in the SL. The Pyramid is only 230m at the bottom and will be suitable for making within one SIM, but the Great Wall is... This one is built in a single SIM.




ここは長城の海側の基点、老龍頭でしょうか。全体を見ようとしてはいけないので、海岸に立って、ここから遥か西域までを思い浮かべるのがいいのかも。
でも誰かSIMを沢山使って長いのを作っていただけないかな（＾－＾）　この長城は売られていて、一式が29,500L$です。

This may be the Old Dragon’s Head, the starting point of the Wall. It might not be good to try to get a full view and it is better to stand at the shore to see in the mind’s eye the long long wall beyond the ancient China. But would anyone make a big one in the SL using many SIMs? The full set of buildings of the wall is on sale for L$29,500.

Visited an island that was introduced at a blog as a beautiful spot. This place is also strange enough. Wavy Ocean, occasional shower, and dark land surface.




誰もいない、砂浜のない荒れた海岸に一人でいると、引き込まれるようなおかしな気持ちに・・
大好きなひとがゼロだからだな（；_；）

While standing alone at the rough shore that does not have sandy beach, I was starting to feel to be drawn in. The problem is my first crush is zero...




夕暮れの岩場に静かに打ち寄せられて。妹が見つけてくれなかったら、そのまま冷たくなってたかも。

Drifted ashore silently clothed in the evening glow. If my sister were not able to find me, I could have gone to the happy fishing ground.




もうあんなことしたらだめよ、って妹に叱られた。
この島は暗くてじめじめした感じなのに、あちこちにカップル用のポーズボールがあります。誰もいない寒いとこで二人でいると、かえって絆が深まる？

Was scolded by sister not to do again. Although this island looks dark and wet, there are many pose balls for couples. It could deepn their bonds at this rather cold and desolate place.

Visited the Africa that was introduced at mizuki’s blog. A full one SIM is used. There are many balloons in the sky. Tried to fly more but it disappears after an avatar stands up.




mizukiさんの真似して象に乗りました。私のは飛べるんだよ。
でもバルーンに乗ってるカップルには象が飛んできたらムード台なしだったな、ごめんなさい（＾－＾）

Rode an elephant as mizuki did, but mine can fly. It could have spoiled the romantic mood for couples riding balloon as an elephant flew around. Sorry for that.

  

一足早く、冬季限定のクリスマスSIMへ行きました。すっかり雪景色でアイススケートも出来ました。そろそろインベントリから冬物を探し出さなきゃ。
素敵なイルミネーションツリーがあったので、つい買ってしまった。
江戸も来月から雪景色になります。ちょっと似合わないかもけど、これも天美茶屋に置いちゃお（＾－＾）

Jumping ahead, visited Christmas SIM that is open only in winter. The land was white with snow, and it was able to ice-skate. Now it is time to bring out winter clothing from my inventory. There was a nice illuminated tree, which I bought on impulse. Edo is also covered with snow in December. This tree might not be suitable for Edo, but I would use it at Temi’s Teahouse.

For a change, left on an SL overseas trip to Mont Saint Michel, alone




路地には商店が並んでいます。ここはSLではモールになってるみたい。
お店の中に長い廊下があってびっくりしたら、だまし絵でした。行ったことないけど、実際にもあるのかな。

There are many shops along the narrow passage. Surprisingly found a long corridor in one shop, but it was a trompe l’oeil. I have not been there but is it also in the real town?




街の中は迷路のようですけど、行きどまりはあまりなく、どこを登っても頂上に着きます。
誰もいないので煙突に登って和服に着替えて記念撮影。

The streets are like a maze, but there are few dead ends and any passage leads to the top. There is nobody. I wore kimono standing on a chimney for commemorative photos.




教会の塔の上から。地続きになっている地形がよく見えます。最初のころはSLでも高所恐怖症になったけど大分慣れました。
でもこの上で歩いたり向きを変えたりすると震える（＾－＾）

From the top of the church tower. The landscape connecting to the mainland can be seen. I do not suffer from acrophobia in SL anymore, but still feel weak at the knees when walking on this kind of structure.




塔の先端のミカエル像の秤に座っちゃった。モンサンミシェルの裏側は雪が積もった急斜面。すっかり旅行気分であちこち歩き回りました。
でもHomeボタン一つ押せば江戸の家にすぐ帰れるのが、不思議な感じです。

Sat on a scale pan of the statue of Michel on the tip of the tower. The back side of Mont Saint Michel is a cliff covered with snow. Walked around this way and that with a great deal of satisfaction in an overseas trip mode, but it is strange that I could go home in Edo instantly by pushing “home” button.

  

登山道にはトラップがいくつかあり、足場の上に薄く表示された線から外れると落下して出発点に戻ります。
最初はうまくいったのに、落ちてしまったお友達を心配して戻ったら私も落ちた。

Climbing Mt. Fuji. There are several traps on the route. If you go off the dark line on the narrow footway, you will fall dwon to the starting point. I did well at the first time but tried to go back to see my friend who fell down and was trapped also.




山頂は雲の上。高さはちゃんと3,776ｍです。雪だるまとカメラが出迎えてくれます。

The peak is above the clouds, and the height is 3,776m sharp. A snowman and camera are welcoming us.




連れてきてもらった憧れのペアに割り込んで記念写真。いつも無理にお邪魔してもちゃんと相手をしていただける、超優しい方です（＾－＾）
下りは砂走りでなく空走り！　

Took a commemorative photo berging into the nice couple who took me there. The gentleman is so kind that he keeps me company whenever I squeeze myself in. Going down is not “sand-run” but “sky-run”.




六合目でもらったザックがシュートになっていて、山頂からスカイダイビング！　
厚い雲を抜けると下は青空でした。って変ですね（＾－＾）

The backpack given at the starting point was a parachute. Free-fall from the top. Passing through the heavy croud, there was a clear blue sky below, but does it sound strange?
