Tower: http://slurl.com/secondlife/ACC%20Alpha/70/116/31

Visited the Haveit's SIM again just after the event but already something was going on.

Haveit’s arts sometimes I cannot see whether they are under construction, ruin, or finished work. ^-

This one is under construction, isn’t it? It looks like the huge one in Barcelona.

House of ACCentury: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/ACC%20Alpha/214/233/52

Eagles Hotel California could be a place like this.
“And I was thinkin’ to myself, this could be heaven and this could be hell”
“We are programmed to receive. You can check out anytime you like… but you can never leave.”

There was also automatic monocycle for the tour. It is better than the cabriolet to see details. It is harder to take pictures than the cabriolet though.

There was a Tai Chi pose ball in a dark corner. Various stages are coming in one after another while walking, so it is impossible to take a brief look. Please take time when you are free.

There is a cabriolet that makes tour at the art SIM by Haveit. It is the best way to see the big picture.

The cabriolet soon flies up into the sky. Since the movement is rather quick and spontaneous, it was hard to shoot pictures. I took it three times for shooting ^-^

The paper tower was still there on the day before. I had expected to watch this collapsing.

The horse also go vertical, under water, and into buildings.

In the air at the dusk. The cabriolet is beautiful by itself. Too bad that I am alone as usual…

Visited an event at the art SIM of Haveit Neox. It was a memorial event for reconstruction of “Paper Tower” that was there for six years. I was expecting that the tower breaks apart by releasing link with physical on, but it had been removed before the event.

Harveit’s arts are always large helping of objects or a kind of mess ^-^. Also on the day construction elements were delivered to participants for dancing around, and many bots came in making a great difference.

I attended the work too. I had better wear work outfit but I wore gray one to match the colorful area. Some participants were really gray due to heaviness, so I was not noticed.

There were familiar bots those I saw in other works.

Finally paper columns came out depicting future construction.

Air view of the SIM. It is amazing to see how meticulous this area was built. Museum, aquarium, library, garden, and also café bar within many layers. I have visited here several times before but further strolled around again. It will be reported next time.

Lollito Larkham
The Philosopher’s Stone: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/LEA17/35/222/25

Kant by Lollito Larkham. The table makes a reference to the habit of Kant of lunch regularly with an unknown person. What did Kant see in front of the stranger? How could a man in the thought so vast take refuge with the imperturbable mold of time and of the habits? After all, phirosopers could be strange.

This is also an art for Kant. It sould be out of manner to stand here, but in fabor of the theme, fun and entertaining. But I never play down phirosophers. In days of them, philosphers might be akin to scientists. Modern cosmology could be said to be approaching phirosophical area. It made me think anew about importance of studying the basic of thinking.

Barry Richez

Heidegger by Barry Richez. Again I have not studied what this phirosopher did.

This is also for Heidegger. Ants do not have sophisticated intelligence but they design and create huge ant hill through collaboration and jobsharing. This could be connected to the conscious in the human brain in which individual neuron does not have intelligence. Modern science can explain the system theoretically to some extent, but how did Heidegger make out of it?

Scottius Polke

Hume by Scottius Polke. It could mean an assortment of various ideas and components, but I only got a beauty.

Spinoza by Ub Yifu. I have to give up. Is this spinning because of spinoza? No way, sorry.

Winter Nightfire

Arendt by Winter Nightfire. Was he pursueing good and evil at a war? Here the artist tried to illustrate the imaginations of woman visiting other woman's mind. But I only saw the beautiful garden.

Under the polished floor reflected images were set, but there is alpha-crash caused by doubled transparent textures. I would conclude this very rude visit to the arts of philosopy by words, “Satya resides under woman’s skirt.” Thank you the organizer and artists for providing me with a chance to look insde the unknown for me.

Robin Moore
The Philosopher’s Stone: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/LEA17/35/222/25

Pantheon of Aristotle by Robin Moore. Some presentation requires time and viewer setting. This is very kind instruction, “Stand in front of here and if you can see your shadow here you have set your setting right”.

Feathers Boa

Marx by Feathers Boa. Does this depict a class strife? But don’t you think that any philosophy or religion that needs war or force as a result could be defective.

Plato by Aequitas. People living in a cave will see only the shadow of the reality. I turned around and looked at the outside though. What did Plato say if he watched the holographic principle?

Ama Avro

Descartes by Ama Avro. At least I have read words, Cogito ergo sum. The reason to think why I am here itself is the proof that I am here. This is connected to the Anthropic principle explaining why humankind resides in this universe and why the universe has been set as the human requires. If there were no human, the question itself would not exist. Kurzweil calculated that a robot who can speculate as same as human will be achieved in 2029. How will the artificial brain consider about this issue? I am looking forward to.

Freewee Ling

Nietzsche by Freewee Ling. This is an image inspired by the words by Nietzsche. There are words coming in, such as ‘There are no facts. Only interpretations’ or ‘Without music life would be a mistake’. There might be some words not from Nietzsche…

There is a tunnel alongside of the palace. Crawling animation was set. The tunnel is only 30m in length, but it is hard to reach the end since it looks longer and the wall is moving.

Bibi Rivesのウィトゲンシュタイン。私はこの哲学者の名前は聞いたことがなかった;;

Wittgenstein by Bibi Rives. I have not heard the name of this philosopher. It is said, “Without word, neither speculation nor philosophy”. But I believe there is cerebration and speculation without using language and cannot agree with him as a girl in the science. :)

To be continued further.

The Philosopher’s Stone: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/LEA17/35/222/25

Visited LEA full-SIM art, “The Philosopher’s Stone” that is featuring the work of 15 artists interpreting 15 philosophers in original artworks. This project strived to create art exhibitions provoking fun, entertaining, and educational, also encouraging collaboration, sharing of knowledge, exploring ideas with various techniques and technologies.

The map of the arts with the name of artists and philosophers whose name I ever heard. There are both seasoned and novice artists.

The idea began from an article about a project a teacher had given his young students to draw what they thought a philosopher looked like, to have a group of artists “interpret” a philosopher. For me the art is sometimes clear as mud, and this time ‘philosophy’ was added a fortiori. It could be Greek.

The ground was set by Pixels Sideway the organizer. There is a pile of columns like a Parthenon.

When walking into, the columns around me are lifted up. This movement alludes to the idea of thought and reflection. The following is extracts from the artist’s comment.

This alludes to the idea of thought and reflection…under one of the columns is a revelation that leads to a place of deeper meditative thought.... and that revelation is a hidden teleport. Where does philosophical thought come from? Sometimes they are revealed in mysterious way… we uncover something that leads us to a revelation, and thoughts are dynamic -- they are always moving around in our minds -- so if each column were a thought or fragment of a thought or idea or concept, we might come across something that is like an "ah ha!" moment -- a revelation of sorts -- and that can lead to a deeper reflective meaning, or it could just be a fun place with moving columns under which one is a hidden teleport to a secret place :-)

There is a meditation space with colorful images dancing, but I liked the moving columns and tried to lift them up as far as possible. The columns keep lifting as I fly up. It is fun as if I got special power.

The movement is rather slow. I went down quickly and the columns were left behind, descended calmly. I did not see what kind of thinking this movement depicted, but it was fun to watch.

To be continued.

Bonne Chance: http://slurl.com/secondlife/bonne%20chance/153/129/22

Visited a field of rape blossoms that was introduced at Yana’s blog. It is a beautiful SIM named good fortune, with full of beauty of the natural scenery.

The World of Yana: http://yana.slmame.com/

Row of cherry trees covered by acqua alta? This can be seen only in SL, freewheeling thinking. I built my gallery ignoring gravity or structural integrity, but in the same breath I was worrying about cherry trees planted on the beach… Yana’s blog is always introducing beautiful SIMs. Feel lonely when visiting there alone though.

English: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Tale_of_the_Bamboo_Cutter

Viewed the spring performance by Milky Maihime, The Tale of the Bamboo-Cutter and the Moon Princes. I have not read full text of the original story that can be read in the above.

So attractive even at the moment of birth. It is natural that many princesses were fascinated.

Transformed to a beautiful princes in just about no time. In the original story, it took only there months from an infant of height of 9cm to an adult.

This show did not use quick stage changes but a bamboo boat moving between stages. This is an act where men were asking for hand in front of gorgeous house of the whitebeard who became rich with gold that was found in the bamboo bush.

Audiences were sitting in a small area so it was easy to shoot all of them. Some found difficulty to find sitting space and someone stood up and dropped although it was told not to stand up.

Gorgeous room that reminds me of the inner palace of the castle at Edo. It is creating an atmosphere within the limited space.

Guard women trying to fight against people from the moon.

The Moon Princes performing final dance waiting for the mission from the moon.

The bamboo boat did not face toward the stage, so it was necessary to move camera. Some one did not know it and said she was not able to see the stage. I also almost missed the mission coming in without someone said “Look left!”

Another idea than the bamboo boat was to change clothing on the set within blowing out particles. It was quick and could end up with gray mess in a heavy SIM, but it was cut it beautifully. It was a bit disappointing that the faint love with the emperor was not included in this show, and the ending that he burnt the immortal medicine which the princes gave him.

The princes was banished to the earth due to her sin. In this show, the sin was “an attempt to be special person by herself”. Since the sin was expiated, the whole agony at the place of exile will be cleared and forgot, but could the life on the earth be rather happy memories? The show ended with the theme that I did not notice when reading the original. Thank you Milky Maihime for the wonderful images!

The dance theme at Baba last week was ‘bloom gazing by the evil’. Kazumi grew mammoth at the beginning this time.

I tried to go wrong as much as possible but was not equal to the garnish on Kazumi’s skirt.

Is this a wasp or a roach? The evil should be insects for Hisanori who was attacked by a swarm of caterpillars at his dorm.

The cool guy is Suzuo the ex-dancer. A damnatory figure is on his shoulder.

Satan will be suitable for the evil, but Tomoko brought in a bunny girl. Are you an old conservative patriot with national flag? The theme tomorrow has not been announced, but please drop in.

I have not done skiing this year, so I visited the forest of Totoro. The flower garden is in full bloom but there is plenty of snow on the hill behind.

There is neither lift nor wide slope, but it is joy to make short turns in a small area. In season nobody cares for photo shooting while racing around but at the end of season we see that there will be no further improvement this year, and can enjoy shooting.

It is happy to find a little longer slope. It is easy to ski on a spring snow since the ski does not sink and the edges work well.

The stained snow does not slide well, but I glided down leisurely without using poles.

To walk all the way to a spot where snow ends is also spring skiing. It is also spring to worry about snow when watching cherry blossom on the way to the ski resort.
