迷路
ダックスはパスファインディング機能があり、家具やオブジェクトはよけて歩き回ります。
迷路をつくったら、この程度のはあっさりと通る。ついてこい、と命令して周囲を廻ると迷路を通りながら一番近い場所に来ます。
The dachshund has a pathfinding function and walks around obstacles. I made a maze but she handled it matter-of-factly. When I say “come” while walking around the outside, she comes to the nearest point passing through the maze.
もう少し複雑なのにしました。最初ちょっとためらってましたが、すぐにどこへでも来る＾－＾
I made it a bit more complicated. She hesitated at the first time but soon she managed it and comes to any spot.
犬の訓練センターですが、地面が見にくいので床を置きました。
左上に待たせておいて、「おいで」と言うとちゃんと迷路を抜けてきます。連続写真＾－＾
This is at the training center. I put a floor to make the dog visible. I put her at the top left corner and say “come”, then she passed through the mace. Sequential photograph.
トレーナーの方にどのくらい複雑なものまで解けるか伺ったら、好きなだけ複雑にできる、だって＾－
でもさすがにこれは反対側のコーナーに待たせておいて呼ぶと、途中であきらめてしまいます。
でも、止まる度にまた呼ぶと続きを探して来ます。どこから呼んでもちゃんと抜けてくるのがかわいいです。
I asked the trainer how far I can make the maze complicated and the answer was as far as I like. But this might be too much. I put her on the corner far end and said “come”. She walked to some extent and gave up on the way. But every time when I said “come” again she started walking finding ways approaching me. It is cute that she passes the maze and reached me from anyplace in the maze following my call.
かくれんぼして遊びました。「待て」と言っておいて少し離れたところへ行き、「おいで」と呼んで私を見つけさせる。
子供のころ飼っていたミニチュアダックスがこの遊びが大好きでした＾－＾
We played ‘hide-and-seek’. Keep her waiting by a command “sit”, then say “come” from a remove to let her find me. The miniature dachshund that I had in my childhood loved this game.

ペット
私の家に新しいペットが来ました。ダックスです。飛んでるのは昔からいるハチドリ。
A new pet has come to my home, a dachshund. The humming bird is old.
私のペットの条件は、餌や世話がいらないこと、自分で動き回ること＾－
このハチドリはアバターのまわりを飛び回り、時々花に蜜を吸いに行きます。SL始めたころからいて、最初に欲しくなったペット。
My requirements for pets are to be free from care and food, and to move around arbitrarily. This humming bird flies around an avatar and feeds oneself at flowers at moments. I noticed this when I started SL and wanted at the first time.
このダックスは賢くて、50種類くらいの命令を理解しますし、勝手に動き回るのがかわいい＾－
This dog is very smart and can understand more than 50 commands and it is nice to see her moving around spontaneously.
「ベッドに行って、三度鳴いて、嗅いでから寝なさい」なんて組み合わせ命令も聞きます。
インするたびにどこにいるか見つけるのも楽しいです＾
She followed combined commands such as “On bed, speak three times, sniff and rest” It is also joy to find out where she is when I come in.
カモの夫婦は江戸時代から飼ってるけど、言うことはきかないし私を無視して動き回るので写真撮るのも大変＾－
ダックスはまだ泳がせ方がよくわからない；；
この写真で気が付いたんですけど、普通は水の中の脚は短く見えるのに、SLは変ですね＾－＾
The couple of ducks are with me since Edo era, but they are unteachable and swimming around ignoring me, so it is hard to shoot. Still I do not know how to make the dachshund swim that she should be able to. I noticed in this picture that it is strange to see my leg longer in the water that should look shorter in RL.
ギャラリには小鳥がいます。これはパーティクルらしく動きはリアルでない。
誰かくると湧き出してきてランダムに飛び回り、しばらくすると消えてしまいます。
カモメもいるんですけど、バグで無数に出てきてテロみたいになったことがあるので怖くて出してません＾－
There are little birds at my gallery. These could be particles and the movement is not realistic. They comes out when someone comes near, fly around, and disappear after a while. I have also sea gulls but I am reluctant to bring them out since once they had a bug and came out in countless numbers like a nuisance trick.
