パイオニアのフォトコンはそろそろ締め切り。私をモデルにしてくれるって言ってたカメラマンさん、他に大事なことが出来ちゃった（；_；）

The deadline of the photo contest by Pioneer is approaching. There was a cameraman who would shoot me as a model but he got more important matter. I also entered by myself, but cannot pass the preliminary so far. コンテストはトリミングも色調整も不可なのでスナップショットのままです。シャチはファントムなので乗ることは出来ません。ジャンプするコースの上に浮いて姿勢と構図を決め、通過する瞬間を撮るのですが、SSはシャッタ遅れが大きいので、頭を撮るにはシャチが画面に入る前に予測で押すしかない。撮ろうとした方は難しさが判っていただけると思います。でもそれは審査の対象にはならないのかも・・・

Since neither trim nor trick is allowed for the contest, these are snapshots as they are. Since the orca is phantom, cannot sit on it. So it is necessary to shoot at the exact moment when the orca comes to the spot on the trajectory where I am waiting for it with selected pose and framing. Since there is substantial delay in the SS shutter, it is necessary to press it to shoot the head of orca before it appears in sight by estimating its movement. Someone who tried to shoot this way could understand the difficulty, but it might not be worthy to be considered in the contest.

  

私の庭の隣、神田明神裏手の小さな丘でスキーをしました。スキーはニセコへ行ったときに無料で貰った。
Skiing at Edo： Next to my house, at the back of Kanda Shrine. The ski is a freebie at Niseko Ski Resort.




マウンドの頂上から神田明神へ。
２回も回るとすぐ下へ着いてしまいますが、このスキーは平地だけでなく登りも滑ることが出来るので、岩や木をよけて自由に走り回れます。
Downhill from the top of the small mound to Kanda Shrine. Only two turns are enough to get the bottom, but this ski can go not only downhill but also uphill. Can run freely around rocks and trees.

朝日に向かってジャンプ！　
ニセコのダウンヒルとは似てもいないけど、自分の家の隣でスキーが出来るというのが嬉しくて、一人で２時間も遊んでしまいました。
Jump toward the morning sun. Completely different from the large scale downhill at Niseko, but it is joyful to be able to ski at an adjacent place to my house. Played for more than two hours alone.


  

24日は江戸梅祭。恒例の矢場選手権が終わったら、江戸に火事、め組の出動です。
最後はまた江戸城天守閣に火が。昨年の火事より規模が大きく、雨も降らないので火消したちは手押しポンプで懸命の消火。

Death in action：Edo Pine Festival on 24th. After the established archery contest, fire occurs in the Edo city. The Edo donjon was caught fire again. This time the fire was bigger than last year. It was no rain and Edo fire fighter Megumi worked hard using hand pumps.




夢中で纏を振り回していたら、法被に火が！
Swinging hard the duster, but the Happi coat caught fire and I was covered with flames.




鎮火し、黄門さまからご褒美の小判が。屋根の上で冷たくなってゆく私には誰も気づいてくれなかった（；＿：）
撒かれた小判を拾うのですが、一番多い人は40枚以上も！　
私も香典代わりに何枚かいただきましたけど、PCが早いので本気で取ったらいい勝負だったかもしれません。

The fire was put out, and General Kohmon delivered gold coins as incentives, but the dead body lying on the roof was not noticed. The coins were scattered on the ground. The fastest person got more than forty coins. I also received several ones as a replacement of condolence money. Since my PC is rather fast, I would be competent if I were trying hard.

  

江戸のお友達二人がご結婚。ライスシャワーでないハートシャワーに包まれて。
Wedding ceremony of friends living in Edo. Covered by heart-shower instead of rice-shower.




新郎新婦のご到着。江戸め組は揃いの法被でお出迎え。花嫁のドレスのプリムがひらひらと靡く。
Arrival of bride and bridegroom. Members of Edo Me-Gumi are greeting them in the uniform. PRIMs of the bride dress flittered gracefully.




俄か牧師さまのご講話の後、お約束のキッス。写真撮影のためもあるけど、お二人はなかなか離れませんでした。
After a lecture by an acting padre, the climax was kissing. The bride and groom stayed put long, not only for the photo shooting.




冬の結婚式もロマンチックで素敵。すっかり魅せられて、とうとう一度も深夜以外の光で撮らなかった。
A wedding in winter is also nice and romantic. So fascinated that I forgot to use other light condition than midnight.




すぐ向かいのバーを借りきっての披露宴は、いつまでも続きました。
The reception banquet using nearby club seemed to be endless.



  

40枚のＴシャツの最終回。今回もTemiの名前が入っているものが多いですが、背中にはトランプ、タロットカード、モナリザなどが付いています。
暖かくなったらまたＴシャツ作りを始めようと思っています。また来てください。中に１枚でも着ていただけるものがあれば嬉しい！

The last set of 40 T-shirts. Most of them have Temi’s name this time, but there are some interesting patterns on the back such as playing cards, tarot cards, or Mona Lisa. I would start creating new ones when getting warmer. Please come back again. If there were any single one that you could wear, I would be very happy!


  

パイオニアのＳＩＭのフォトコンテストに応募しました。これは私の小さなアトリエ。
空を泳いでいたら、シャチさんに追突された。シャチさんには悪気はなかったので、仲直りして乗せてもらいました。
コンテストは加工した写真は駄目なので、これは無修正、トリミングもなしです。どうやって撮ったのか、またサメさんのとき同様、謎にしておきますね（＾－＾）

Entered the Pioneer photo contest. This is my small atelier. Hit from behind by an orca while swimming in the air. The orca meant no harm, and he gave me a ride. Since the contest does not accept modified pictures, these are neither tricked nor trimmed. As the previous one with a shark, I would leave it as a riddle.


  

フリーのＴシャツもそろそろ種切れです。今回はほとんど失敗作と言ってもいいもの。
ファイヤパターンを作ろうとして、適当に書けばいいと思ったら、むずい！　次はアメリカンバイクなどを参考に、もっと細かく書いてみます。

Running out of the T-shirts. These are rather flops. Tried to make a fire pattern. Thought easy to draw a random pattern but it was difficult! Study the fire pattern on American bikes next time to challenge more detailed ones. Please wear them with neck and sleeves adjusted long.

For beginners, let me introduce a huge freebies shop. The same layout is on the second floor and there are thousands of items. Mainly for ladies, but there are also male clothing, vehicles, and animations. This is quite enough for the start-up. There is neither cloth using PRIMs nor Japanese Kimono. Some of them are out of fashion but some use excellent texture. Most of my outfits are combination of these items.

New year’s worshipping：Have you done? If not yet, please visit Kanda Shrine. The Shrine is built exactly as the one in the real life, which may have the same effect as the real one. There are an Arrow against evil, a fortune paper, a lucky charm, and a votive tablet (a wooden plaque that is dedicated with your wish or pictures on it). The plaque can be brought back home. Please take a nice picture with your partner and wish a happy year. All for free!

The plaque dedication is easy. Just take a snapshot, make it full permissible, then drag and drop it on the display panel. 　The dedication is until January 15, and they are presented within the month.



長いお休みも今日で終り。明日から仕事だし、週末からはヨットレースも始まり、また忙しくなってしまうなー、私だけじゃなく・・・
This is the last day of long holidays. Also a series of yacht races will start this week. It will be busy again, not only for me…

The top picture is fireworks taken in the real life. The left two are vests that I am wearing actually. The two on the right are folded-paper cranes connected into chains, and a Chinese phoenix. The picture of the phoenix is from a newspaper and framed up at Temi’s Teahouse. Also made a carpet in my bedroom using this pattern.

江戸SIMが華やかに立ち上がったころにあった、2011 年完成予定の新東京タワー「東京スカイツリー」（４月の記事で紹介）の先端です。

A Happy New Year! This is a tip of the new Tokyo Tower (Tokyo Skytree) scheduled to be completed in 2011, which was a showplace of Edo before. (Reported by my blog in April)
