TEMIのセカンドライフ

馬場の教会の跡地に桜を沢山出しました。王蟲の親子がお花見です。
写真撮ったあとはすぐ片づけました。でもこんなに沢山は出せませんので、遠くの桜は合成です。

Brought out many cherry trees at the vacant lot of Kazumi’s church. Took them away as soon as I shot pictures. It was impossible to put so many trees, so the ones at distance are composite.




これは合成ではなく、今の天美茶屋の状態です。
馬場SIMは一年中桜が満開だったので、いつもはDerenderしてたのですが、今は同じ桜を一杯出しました。

This picture is not a composite but a real one now at Temi’s Teahouse. At Baba SIM, cherry trees have been in full bloom throughout the year. I was derendering them normally but put the same type of trees this time.

Under the cheery trees, still there is a photo exhibition “Amigos of Baba” until March 31st.




キャンピングカーは邪魔なので片づけました。展示写真も周りに残った建物も視距離とDerenderで消去。

Deleted the camping car. Also the pictures and buildings around were erased with derender and viewing distance. It became strange scenery like a shelter wood with cherry trees, being a far cry from the wonderful pictures in the Yana’s blog…

If you come too near the fire at Temi’s Teahouse, you will catch fire. It burns with great fury.




走り回ったり池に飛び込んだりしても消えません。燃え尽きて灰になるまで・・・
ではなく、しばらくすると自然に消え、火傷もしません。私の土地を出ると後に残り、戻るとまた点くのが面白いです。

It will not be extinguished by running around or jumping into a pond. It burns until you are incinerated…. Not actually, it will go away after a while without leaving any burn injury.　It will be left behind when you go out of my area and come back upon return.




雪だるまも。雪だるまは歩かないので、自分に火をつけてから雪だるまのところへ行き、ＴＰすると炎だけが残ります。
これは妹にやってもらった（＾－）

Put a fire on the snowman. He does not walk, so I caught fire myself, went to the snowman, and teleported leaving the fire behind. I asked my sister to do this.




雪だるまに火をつけることが出来ることが分かったので、燃やしてみました（＾－）　
この雪はメタンハイドレートなのかな。

Since I saw it was possible to ignite snowmen, I burnt them. Is he made of methan hydrate?




この炎はどこへでもつけることが出来るので、パイプに付けてランタンになってもらいました。
天美茶屋のある馬場SIMは３月末で閉鎖になるそうです。ここの模様替えもあと1回か・・・

This fire can be set at any place, so I put it on the pipe of the snowman to make a lantern.
The Baba SIM where Temi’s Teahouse is will be closed at the end of March. There will be only one facelift in this space…

  

今年は天美茶屋の毎月の景色入れ替えをさぼってました。今年5回目の模様替えなので、2か月に1回しかやってない（；　；）
また昨年と同じカボチャですが、プリムがあるだけ並べました。
1個1プリムなので自由に並べられるのだけど、カボチャ畑にするのも、ピラミッドにするのもめんどい・・・　やっぱり怠慢だな。

I was lazy on seasonal monthly change of Temi’s teahouse. This is the fifth change, so there were only every two months. Again pumpkins as the last year. I put as many as prim limit. One prim for one pumpkin, so it is possible to arrange them freely, but it needs work to make a pumpkin field or a pyramid. This was to be expected…

  

Yanaさんのブログには、美しいSIMが沢山紹介されています。これもそのひとつです。
お花畑はあちこちあるけど、ここはSIMひとつが全部。林の中を歩き回るといろいろな種類の花が沢山！　
ただ、上から見渡そうとすると巻紙タイプのテクスが見えてしまうのが残念。歩くのがお勧めです。

There are many beautiful spots introduced in Yana’s blog. This is one of them. There are many flower gardens in SL but this one is using one full SIM. Many kinds of flowers can be seen while strolling around the SIM. One drawback is that roll-paper type texture is observed if looking down from the air. It is recommended walking.




今年は怠慢で、竹藪も七夕飾りもしませんでした。梅雨が明けてしまったので、あわててチューリップのフェンスを片付けて向日葵を。
あのSIMみたいなお花畑を夢見てるんですけど、沢山花を買ってきてもなかなか出来ません。センスの問題かな（；　；）

I was lazy this year and did not put bamboo bush and decorations for Vega Festival. In the meantime the rainy season was over. I rushed to remove the fences with tulips and put some sunflowers. I wish I could have that kind of flower garden like the SIM around my home. I have bought a lot of flowers but still I was not able to make it. It could be a matter of ability…




お向かいの馬場集会所も、今年はプール開きが遅くてまだ氷が張ってます（＾－＾）

At the Baba Meeting Area across the street, the swimming pool has not opened yet and still is frozen over. But there were many new playing gears set and dance balls were renewed this year. Thank you Kazumi!

  

見ましたか？　やっと雲の切れ目からリングが見えたと思ったら、用意したメガネは黒過ぎて何も見えず（；　；）
でも一瞬肉眼で薄い雲を通してくっきりとリングを見ることが出来ました。濃すぎる眼鏡は逆に目に悪い（＾－）
天美茶屋の屋上から。子供のころカリフォルニアで見たんですが、その時は今度のより細いリングに見えた。

Have you seen the annular eclipse? Fortunately it was a chance to see it from the rift in the clouds, but a glass I purchased was too dark then I saw the ring cearly by the naked eye instantly. Too dark glasses are not good for eyes… This was from the roof of Temi's Teahouse. When I saw a real one at California when young, it was finer ring than this time.

  

花は何でもたくさんあるときれいですね。ちょっとした夢の世界・・・

Any flower is beautiful if there are thousands of them. It is a kind of dream world…　




今年はRLであまり鯉幟を見なかったような感じで天美茶屋にも出さず、いつのまにか連休も終わってしまった・・・

I have not seen many carp pennants this year in RL, and I forgot to put them at Temi’s Teahouse. The Golden Week holidays passed somewhere along the line. The fence is only for decoration that is phantom and possible to pass through.




何の花だか分らないけど、とにかく沢山植えました。
カラフルな花を沢山咲かせたいんですけど、なかなかいいのが見つかりません。

I do not know the name of the flower, but I put them as much as possible. I had meant to set many flowers with multi-color all over the place, but still I have not found suitable ones.




「ムシゴヤシが午後の胞子を飛ばしてる・・・」っていう穏やかなオープニングを思い出します。
SLに腐海、ってないんでしょうか？　あったら教えてください。

It reminds me of the serene opening of Nausicaa, "Musigoyasis are sending out afternoon spores." Is there the Fukai (toxic jungle) in SL? Please let me know if any.

Another cherry season at Baba, although there was a place with cherry flower in full bloom all year long. There was a cheery festival at Washington DC. I was in the US for ten years but never had a chance to see the cherry blossom at Potomac.

The second cheery season for Temi’s Teahouse since it was moved in Baba. A cheery tree standing in a pond on the left is to avoid branches penetrating boundary. There is a cherry blossom viewing party at Baba today March 30. Old or fresh persons are quite welcome!




去年の今頃は、こんなことしてたんだ、全然進歩してないな（；　；）　
でも久し振りにパンドラへ行ってみたら、浮かぶ岩の世界も宇宙ステーションも見つからなかった・・・

Last year I was doing like this, made slow progress…　Tried to visit the planet Pandora for a change, but it was unable to find the world of floating rock or space station.




昨年は天美茶屋には震災募金のリンデンくまさんが沢山いました。あの募金はお役に立ったのでしょうか。
まだまだ道のりは遠いと思いますけど、地震も放射能もないSLでひと時のお花見を楽しんでください。

At that time, there were many Linden bears for contribution sitting at Temi’s Teahouse. I hope the collected money was of actual help. We have a long way to go but let us share the joyful time together in SL, there is no earthquake or radiation.

Removed snow at Temi's Teahouse and set Japanese plum trees. It became a bit monotonous since I have only one kind of plum.




天美茶屋が馬場に越して来てからそろそろ１年になります。
桜から始まって、鯉幟、新緑、竹藪、七夕、朝顔、向日葵、コスモス、紅葉、雪と変えてきましたが、今回の梅で一巡。

Almost one year has passed since I set the teahouse at Baba. Starting with cherry trees, there were carp streamers, tender greens, bamboo bush, Vega Festival decorations, morning glory, cosmos, autumn color, and snow. This plum makes a loop.




下は先週までの雪景色ですけど、11月からこのままでした（＾－＾）
江戸時代から続けてた茶屋の四季ですけど、ちょっと万年リズムになっちゃいそうなので、今年は何か違うことしよ。

The below is the teahouse last week. The snow was there since last November. The four seasons at Temi’s Teahouse have been set since it was at Edo SIM, but now it may become stereotyped. This year I would do something else.

  

ブライトの透明オブジェクトは重なると明るすぎてしまいますが、画質を最低にすると避けられることを以前報告しました。
それは光る木立にもあてはまります。でも最低画質では暗くなってしまうのとフェースライトは写りません。
これは上半分を最低、下半分を最高画質にして合成してます。

I reported before that when bright objects with transparent portion are doubled it becomes too bright, but it can be resolved by using the lowest picture quality. This phenomenon will be also applied for bright trees. But it becomes too dark with the lowest quality, and face lights will not work. This picture is made with the lowest quality at the top half and the highest at the lower.




これも上部は最低画質ですけど、光ってる部分なら明るさは十分。最高画質では完全に白飛びしてしまいます。

This picture also using the lowest quality at the top half but the brightness of the bright portion is enough. If the high quality is used, it will be white-outed.




最高画質でもアングルを選べばこのように撮れることも。これは合成なしです。
後にある光るオブジェクトは視界距離で蹴り出すか、デレンダーでひとつづつ丁寧に消してゆきます。
これは土曜日の馬場のダンスパーティの後。
パーティなのに誰もパートナーがいなくて（；；）　踊り足りなかったので、向かいの自宅の通路でしばらく踊り続けてたときです。

It is possible to shoot even with the high quality if camera angle is carefully selected. This picture is not modified. Blight objects behind were closed out by adjusting view distance or derendered one by one. This was after the Baba dance party on the last Saturday, where I did not get any partner throughout the party and was not satisfied, so I continued dancing on the way to my home across the street.

  

馬場集会所に合わせて、少し早いけど冬景色にしました。
今年の3月に馬場が移転してから8カ月、天美茶屋のお色直しも8回目になりました。

Following the Baba meeting zone, Temi’s Teahouse was also changed to winter. Eight months have passed since last March when the Baba SIM was moved. Accordingly this seasonal change of Temi’s Teahouse is also the eighth.




昨日までの秋の天美茶屋。SLでは簡単に模様変えが出来るので、カレンダーをめくるような感じ。
でもまたすぐ1年が経ってしまうんですね。SL始めたときは、こんなに長くやってるつもりはなかった（＾－）

Temi’s Teahouse in autumn as of yesterday. It is easy to change season in SL, so it seems like turning over a calendar. Another year is passing soon. I did not think that I would do SL for such a long period when I started it.

昨年は前の馬場の地主さんに樹が高すぎる、って叱られたので今年はちゃんと測って30ｍ以内に（＾－）

Autumn has come. Put fall foliages at Temi’s Teahouse. Last year, the landload of Baba at that time scoled me about the hight, so I checked it carefully this time.




偶然立ち寄ったアートギャラリの庭の隅にあったジオラマ。
小さなスペースの中に絵と草、樹木と光で、秋がしっかり表現されています。

A georama set at a corner of front yard of an art gallery. With a painting, trees, grass, and lighting, the autumn is nicely depicted in the small space.




天美茶屋のお向かいのKazumiさんのバーのステージの背景も大分前から秋景色になっています。

At the Kazumi’s bar, our neighbors across the street, the stage is also decorated with autumn color of leaves.




素敵なホリゾントではなく、ステージからそのまま裏の森につながってるんです。
Mizukiさんの作品で写真の中に入れるのがありましたけど、これは本物だ。
この森はそのままアリスのお茶会へ繋がっています。バー側から見るとこれも3Dアートですね（＾－＾）

Tha is not a nice painting but a real wood behind the bar. I saw a nice picture by Muzuki that lets us come in, but this forest is real and leads us to the Arice’s tea table. The scenery from the bar could be a kind of 3D art.




バワリーポエトリークラブはマンハッタンのイーストヴィレッジにある新進アーティストの溜まり場。

The Bowery Poetry Club is a New York City poetry performance space located in Manhattan's East Village, and provides a home base for established and upcoming artists. The right is real one. Kazumi’s one does not have live performance but a quiet and calm spot.

  

暑いですねー、天美茶屋の朝顔を片づけて、ちょっと時期遅れですけどヒマワリを植えました。

Very hot recently! Removed morning glories at Temi’s Teahouse and set sunflowers instead. This sunflower is made of flat texture different from the morning glory that was made three dimensionally. So it saves PRIMs but looks the same in all direction. The white corner seen left below is a part of the central square of Baba SIM where still cherry blossoms are in full bloom.　　Baba meeting area and the public pool are on the left top.




ブライトにしたので、夜は不思議な景色になります。これはなるべく沢山見えるような角度から。

Since the texture of sunflower is ‘blight’ it creates strange scenery at night. This SS is from an angle that shows as many flowers as possible.




CoralreefさんにDLブースをいただきました。使い方が分からないけど、和風デザインなので置いてみた。

Coralreef kindly gave me a DL booth. I do not know how to use but it looks nice and I put it at my tea house.




テクスチャがすごく細かくて素敵。中央はInfinumのMackie d4-Proミキサー、ターンテーブルはテクニクスSL 1210 M5G が縦置きに。
上に乗ってるディスクはPindropのMadhouseらしい、こちらで聞けるのが多分そうです。

The texture is very fine and nice. The middle is Infinum Mackie d4-Pro Mixer, and the turn tables are Technics SL 1210 M5G set longitudinally. The disc on it may be ‘Madhouse’ by Pindrop, that is available at the above URL.

  

七夕シーズンも終わったので天美茶屋は朝顔に。これは江戸の天美茶屋時代に使ったものです。

The Vega Festival is over and morning glories were set at Temi’s Teahouse. This flower was used at Edo before.




江戸時代に手作業で組み立てているところ。これだけで数百プリムを使ってたと思います。
蔓、葉、花がそれぞれ1プリムで出来ているのを自分で繋ぎ合わせて行くので、組み立てが大変だった。

When I was connecting them at Edo. I think there were more than two hundreds prim used here.　 Vines, leaves, and flowers are one PRIM each, and should be set and connected one by one. I remember that was quite a job.




これは昔の江戸の天美茶屋。労力の割りに見栄えがしませんでした（；　；）
庭中朝顔だらけにしたかったんですけど「朝顔にプリムとられてホームレス」になっちゃう。
結果ごちゃごちゃしただけ。使い方が悪いんですね。次回があったらもっときれいな方法を考えます（＾－）

Decoration at the old Temi’s Teahouse at Edo. The hard work did not pay off. I had meant to fill the space with a lot of flowers, but there were not enough prims. Ended up with a kind of mess. May be I am not using them properly. If there is next time, I will find better way to maximize the beauty.




読み込むまではスイカ畑みたい。すぐ変わるので画質や距離を最大にして重くしておいて撮りました。
でもなかなかきれいな色がついたボールは撮れなかった。

It looks like a watermelon before completing reading. Since it is changing quickly, I took SSs with highest resolution and longest view distance to make it heavy. But it was hard to shoot watermelons with beautiful colors.




ついでですけど、ギャラリでは撮りためたヨットのSSを展示してます。
写真としてはたいしたことないけど、ヨットやったことない方は「SLで最もリアルな乗り物」の楽しさを想像してください。

By the way, I put some yacht photos that I had taken at my gallery. Nothing special as a photograph, but please feel joy of yachting if you have not experienced yachts that is said to be the most realistic vehicle in SL.

I sent an apology IM to Emilin the artist of the ‘Dangling Chain’, and then she said, “It is all right :) I have sent you a copy for your own to play with ;)” I lost no time in setting it at Temi’s Teahouse, but was surprised that it was larger than I thought since I had seen it at wide place. I will put it for a while here although it might be heavy.




乗ったら切れてしまうのは実験済み（＾－）なので、振り子の通路に立ってみました。ちゃんと押されて池の中へ落とされた。
それでもじっとしてたら、パチンと糸が切れてボールが四散しました。
でもこんどは私は飛ばされなかったし、ボールは自然に元に戻った。細かく設定されてるんですね。

I have already checked that it would break when I sit on them, so I tried to stand in front of the pendulum. It pushed me into the pond properly. I stayed there adamantly, then the thread snapped and the balls scattered in all direction. But this time I was not brushed and the system was reset naturally. Very fine arrangement should be there in the system.

  

本当は6日に飾り、7日に片づけるのだそうです。本来は海か川に流すんだって。でも商店街などではもっと長い（＾－＾）　
天美茶屋にも手作りの飾りをつけました。折角作ったのに１日ではもったいない（＾－）ので、一週間飾ることにします。

It is for the legendary once-a-year rendezvous of two stars in the Milky Way, Vega of Lyra and Altair of Aquila. The decorations should be set in the evening of July 6 and thrown into sea or river on July 7. But they put them longer on shopping area. Now that I have worked on the hand-made decors, I will set up for one week.

June has come and bamboo bushes were set at Temi’s Teahouse. Had meant to set wisteria trellis but was not able to find nice one. I would put septfoil for the Vega Festival on the bamboo in July.




周りが暗いので夜は寂しいですけど、落ち着いた雰囲気。池にはカモさんのカップルがいます。
いつもお隣の馬場集会所でダンスしてるからここは無人のままが多いですけど、なるべく季節に応じた植物を入れ替えてムード作りを。
でも中央広場はまだ桜が満開です（＾－）

It seems desolate since the immediate neighbors are dark, but it provides cool atmosphere. There is a couple of goose in the pond. I am usually dancing at the adjoining Baba Meeting Zone and nobody is here, but I will do my vest to present good ambience by changing trees according to seasons. But there are still cherry blossoms at the common.

Changed a tree in my gallery also in order to meet the season, but it is not quite her. The second floor is still for April, the third is seasons of Temi’s Teahouse at Edo, and the adult corner is the last days at the teahouse.

  

テキサス大の事務所に、私の家と同じものが使われていました。
フリーでゲットしたのですが、ドア、暖炉、調整可能なブラインドなどが付いていて編集可能なすぐれものです。

A same house as my home was used as an office in the University of Texas. I got it as a freebie, but it is neat one that has adjustable blind, door, and fireplace, and it is also editable.




こちらが天美茶屋の横にある私の家。ルーフのテクスを少し変えてますがほとんどそのまま。
間取りや建物が同じで家具だけ違うのは、アパートや建売では当然ですけど、SLの家は初めて見た。

This is the one that I am using at Temi’s Teahouse. The roof texture was changed a bit, but almost intact as a whole. It is natural to see same building with same layout in apartment house or reedy-built housing, but this is the first one that I ever saw in SL.




上が大学の事務所、下が私の家です。全く同じ角度からSSを撮るのは難しかった。
最初から計画しておけば、立つ位置を決めてカメラを同じだけ動かせばいいんでしょうけど。
自分が使ってる家と同じってちょっと嬉しい。だからどうなのよ、って感じでしょうけどね（＾－）

The above is the university office, ant the below is my home. It was difficult to shoot SSs from the same angle exactly. If it were planned in advance, it had better to set the standing position and move the camera accordingly. I am a bit thrilled to see the same one as mine, but you might say, “So what?”

Cherry and carp streamer season were stretched to the limit, but I finally did the monthly facelift of Temi’s Teahouse. This is the old setting.




ギャラリ前の桟橋にも鯉のぼり出してた。これはSIM風に反応するタイプだったので風見にもなってました。
ここは半分はクラブランニングフリーの桟橋で、ここから公海へヨットが出せます。

The carp streamer was also set at the pier in front of my gallery. This streamer is well made to react to the SIM wind, so worked as a wind sock. A half of this pier belongs to the Club Running Free. It is possible to sail to Linden Sea from here.




お隣も桜が終わって緑になりました。
左から正面はKazumiさんの馬場野外音楽堂、工場、バー、右奥はSuzuさんの牧場で、ウマがどんどん増えてる（＾－）

The neighbors also turned to greenery. The left to center is the Kazumi’s, Baba amphitheater, work shop, and bar. The left is Suzu’s ranch where horses are multiplying proliferously.

My house is a public room, so please feel free to use it as a rest station. There are pose balls for couples, but some of them are out of position now.


  

馬場の天美茶屋は桜が満開です。ギャラリーの海に置いていた人魚ダンスを持ってきました。
ピアノソロに合わせてゆったりと踊るダンスは桜にも合いそうです。
昨夜はニコ馬場でお花見する、って聞いてたんですけど、主催者が「仮眠好き」さんだったので（＾－＾）

Cherry blossoms are in full bloom at Temi’s Teahouse in Baba SIM. Put the mermaid dance ball that was set at my seaside gallery. The slow dance in time to piano solo music and sakura go together well. It was said that a cherry-blossom viewing would be held at Baba, but the organizer was Kaminski (Japanese meaning is ‘going for beauty sleep’)....




桜の精のようなピンクのかわいい人魚はMizukiさん。私はピンクの人魚を持ってなかったのが残念・・・
The cute pink mermaid like a sakura nymph is Mizuki. It is too bad that I did not have pink one.




このダンスは自由に動けるし、飛ぶことも出来るので空を泳ぎまわれます。
ドレスで踊ると人魚とは違った楽しさもある（＾－＾）
It is possible to fly and move around with this dance. There is different fun in dancing with dress instead of mermaid avatar.

家が突然なくなってしまうのって、想像しただけでも大変なこと。SLのように簡単にREZ出来たらどんなにいいか・・・　
家の中がぐちゃぐちゃになり水道も止まってるのに、パソコンだけ抱えてSLに入って来られた方がありました。
情報交換の場としても、ひとときの休憩所としても、少しでもお役に立てればと思います。

It is beyond imagination to lose own house suddenly. It would be nice if it were possible to REZ houses instantly as in the SL. Someone got out a PC and came to the SL although the inside of his house is big mess. I wish SL could be a place for information exchange and provides a momentary relief.




私の家は居間、ベッド、お風呂、着替え用のポーズボールがあるだけで、まとめていつでも移動可能です。
スカイなので放射能ダストは多分届かないけど、帰るには飛んでくる必要がある。迎えてくれるのはペットのハチドリだけですけど（＾－）

My one has only sofas, bed, bath and pose-balls for changing clothing and it is possible to move the set to anyplace. Since it is set in the sky the radioactive fallout may not reach, but I should fly to come back. Only my pet humming bird is waiting for me.




仮設ですから簡単に模様替えが出来ます。これは今年の初めに使ってた。
天美茶屋のように２時間でというわけにはいかないでしょうが、一刻も早く食べ物と水のある仮設住宅の設置を願っています。

It is possible to change interior anytime. This was used at the beginning of this year. Although it cannot be done within hours as Temi’s Tea House, but I wish many temporary homes made as soon as possible.
