TEMIのセカンドライフ

私のURLを見て行ってみる方もあるかと思って黙ってましたけど、アドベンチャーゲームの舞台のような仕掛けがあります。
通路が動いたり狭くなったり、踏んではいけないマークが。でもゲームに慣れた方なら通るのは簡単です。
ここは早く通らないと足場が下がってしまう場所。

I did not mention it considering someone might visit this URL shown here that there are many gizmos like dungeons in adventure games. Some walkway will move, and some marks on floor should not be stepped on. But if you have done some games, it might be easy to manage them. These tables go down if you did not go through quickly.

The things wiggling around are all scorpions, but they do not do any harm here.




棺桶が開いて出てくる＾　こっちも骸骨になっていれば怖くない＾－＾

A coffin opens and this comes out. I would not be frightened if I am a skeleton too.




ミイラや蝙蝠がついてくることもあります。何にもしませんけど＾

Some mummy or bats are following you. They do nothing though.




ゴール？は王の棺桶。蓋が自動で開きます。黄金の装飾がまぶしい。
RLでこれを最初に発見したひとの感動はすごかったのでしょうね。

The goal is a coffin of the king. The lid opens automatically. Golden décor is dazzling. How was the excitement of the person who found this in RL at the first time?




ピラミッドの外には王宮があり、王の墓からテレポートしてきます。

There is a palace outside the pyramid, teleporting from the king’s tomb.




受付にはすごい美人が。とても外形ではかなわないので、内面で勝負＾－＾　
残念なことにこの人はどこから見ても正面しかなく、横顔を見ることが出来ませんでした。

There is a gorgeous beauty at the reception. I cannot be equal to her with the outside, so I tried to have a match with the inside. Unfortunately this lady can be seen only from front side and it was impossible to see her profile.




ピラミッドの蓋？を外して中を見たところ。右の入口から内部をめぐって行きます。

下から見た地下部分。ここはスカイなので地下でも水の中になりません。
SLでピラミッドはいくつか見たけど、これが一番楽しかった＾－　飛鳥さん、ありがと＾－＾

Under structure seen from below. This is set on a skybox and there is no water under the surface. I have visited several pyramids in SL but this one was the most interesting. Thank you Aska^-^

This time I used midnight setting as recommended.




松明を貰って入る入口。本物のピラミッドへ行ったことがないのでわかりませんけど、こんな立派な入口はなかったでしょう＾－

The entrance coming in with a torch. I have never visited real pyramid but there might not be such a gorgeous entrance on the real one.




前に書いたように、ここはピラミッドの再現ではなく、ピラミッドの形をした美術館のようです。
中の壁画や彫像は大英博物館の展示を見るような素晴らしさです。

As I said before, this is not a reproduction of a real pyramid but a museum with pyramid shape. The wall paintings and statues inside are so real and nice as if I were in the British Museum.




アヌビスの間。他でも見かける姿ですけど、ここにあると一段と迫力があります。

A room of Anubis. This shape can be seen other places but it appears more strongly here.




パステトの間。大きいのが沢山立っています。

A room of Bastet. There are many big ones in this room.




他にもワニの形のセベク、頭がハヤブサのホルスなどがいます。
エジプトには沢山の動物の頭をした神がいるようで、ライオンの頭のセクメト、羊のクヌムなど、ネットで見たら90種類以上あるそうです。
ここの壁画をゆっくり見ていっても面白いかも。

There are other figures, Sebek with crocodile head and Horus with falcon. There were so many gods with animal head in Egypt. Sekhmet with lion or Khnum with sheep. Looking on the internet, there are more than ninety kinds of them. It could be interesting to look at the wall paintings in detail.

ピラミッドへ飛鳥さんに連れて行っていただきました。高さは73ｍ、ギザのピラミッドの約半分です。

Aska took me to a pyramid. The height is 73m, a half of Great Pyramid of Giza.




外には発掘現場があり、砂の中からフリーグッズが貰えます。

There is an excavation site near the pyramid. Some free gifts are available in the sand.




周りの運河には船に乗って自動のツアーもあります。

There is a tour ride with a boat on a canal.




RLのピラミッドの近くに運河や洞窟があるのがどうかわかんないけど、楽しいツアーです。

I do not know if there is a canal or cave near the pyramid, but the tour is joyful.




船は豪華で、ゆったりと乗っていればいい。

The boat is with pomp and splendor to sit and talk leisurely.




ピラミッドの中には、自分で運転するボートも。中は実際のピラミッドの再現ではなく、大きな美術館かダンジョン探検みたいでした。
一応デート（＾－）だったので、後で別に写真を撮りに行きました。内部の様子は次回＾－＾

There is also a hand-steering boat in the pyramid. The inside of the pyramid is not a reproduction of the real one but a museum or a dungeon in an adventure game. Since I was there as a part of dating, I visited there again to shoot pictures. The inside will be reported next time.


  

以前紹介したタジ・マハールが閉鎖になりました。好きだった黒タジのつり橋から見る白タジ。
王様と亡き王妃の愛の城、いつかは愛するひとと一緒に、なんて思ってたんですけど・・・　

Taj Mahal was closed. A castle of love commemorating the deceased princes. My favorite place, a suspension bridge of the Black Taj with the White Taj in the distance. I had meant to come back again with a sweetheart, if any…




Mizukiさんと一緒だったのでドレスに着替えて記念写真。前日は何人かで塔の上でダンス。
閉鎖するSIMがあると、集まってフラメンコ踊るのが恒例になってきた（＾－＾）

Together with Mizuki, took a commemorative photo with a new dress. On the day before, several friends gathered together on the tower and did flamenco dancing. It became a custom to do so when a SIM is closing.




地下の洞くつや海底。まだよく見たことがない場所があったのに・・・

A cave underground or floor of the sea. There are many places where I have not seen in detail.




白タジの入り口近く、愛の城になぜ怖い獣が・・・番人でもなさそうだし。
何か由来があるのでしょうか、ご存じの方は教えてください。

At the entrance of White Taj. Why is there such a fearful beast at the castle of love? If anyone knows about the story, please let me know.

蛇使い。ときどき飛びかかってくるのですけど、咬まれることはなかった。
ちょっとクレオパトラの真似してみたかったけど（＾－）

A serpent-charmer. The snake often jumped at me but did not bite. I was a bit tempted to simulate the death of Cleopatra.




とてもリアルなオブジェクトを二つ。どちらも平面のテクスでなく立体的です。パンはすごくおいしそう。
右のは病院らしい建物の中。設備からすると分娩室みたいでしたが、なぜそこにガイコツが・・・

Two very realistic objects. Both are not flat textures but three dimensional. The bread seems very delicious. The right is in a building like a hospital. Judging from the facilities, this room seems to be a maternity room, but why is a skeletal preparation here?

  

夏からずっと南米を回ってましたが、またヨーロッパへ。前回ゴミトラックで中断した（＾－）中東から。

Have been on a journey in South America, now came back to Europe. Started from the Middle East where I stopped the previous trip in a garbage truck. Here is Persia, Iran now, three dimensional SIM with many slopes.




上の絵の右端にあるのが闘技場で、怖そうな人たちが戦っていて、なんとなく近寄りがたい。
左はお城の前にいた人形です（＾－＾）

A fighting arena is situated on the right in the above picture. Some fearful peoples gathered there and it a bit above being familiar. The left is a mannequin set in front of a castle.




動きがすごく早くて、いつ切られたのかわからない。
東洋風の可愛い顔立ちの戦士を応援していたら、あっさり倒されてしまいました。

The fighting speed is very fast and it is hard to see when the attack was made. Was sticking up for a lady fighter who had pretty features like an oriental, but she got short shrift.




私のSL旅行は、RLの世界地図を見て、行きたい場所の地名で検索し、出てきたLMに片端から飛んでます。
商店のことが多いですが、その時はショッピング（＾－）　フリーの民族衣装を探すのが楽しい。
メインランドより個人SIMの方が面白い景色が見れるようです。

My worldwide trip in the SL is to watch a world map in the RL, and search a name of city where I would like to visit, then jump to every LMs coming out. Although most of them are shops, I can enjoy shopping. It is joyful to find some free ethnic costume in that area. It seems there is more interesting view in a private SIM than the main land.
  

連休を使ったSL西への長い旅の最後は、暗いアラブ。女性がひとりで来るところではないか。SIM全体が暗く沈んで、誰もいない。
ここもLMの再確認に行ったら、もう存在しませんでした。中東は政変が多いというか・・・ 　また出てくるかもなので一応。

The end of a journey in the Middle East, the black side of Arab that may not be a suitable place for a girl traveling alone. The total SIM is dark and desolate. Visited the SIM againto check the LM but it is not there anymore. Political turmoil in the Middle East? Leave the LM since it may come back.




交差点にはひき逃げの跡。街のあちこちに血痕が・・・
Traces of hit and run at intersections. There are many marks of blood in the town.




トイレに連れ込まれて、お金を盗られただけでなく、
Was pulled into a shitter. Not only being stolen money…




衣服も全部持ち去られ、私の身体はごみ処理機に。なぜかゴミトラックだけは立派なのがありました。
All clothes were taken away, and my body was thrown into a garbage track that was strangely fine for the area.

  

あちこちにゲーム盤が置いてありました。チェスとチェッカーは判るけど、右下のは全然見たことがないです。
一番ポピュラーなのは左上ので、チーズィとかいうまわり双六みたいなの。
他人の駒に重なると出発点に戻すことが出来るけど、自分の色のマスや安全地帯に入ってるときは無事。

There are many game tables in the Middle East. I know the chess and checker, but the right bottom is new to me. The most popular one seems to be the top left called Cheesy that is like a circular Sugoroku. The piece moves according to the dices. If you hit other piece, it will be returned to the starting point, but it is guarded when the piece is on its own color or safety zone.




不思議なのは、ゲームする場所が広場の真ん中が多いこと。日本ならカフェかバーみたいになると思うけど。
周囲に敵が多い狩猟民族では、見晴らしが効く場所の方が安心感があるのかも？

An interesting point is that the game site is situated at the middle of wide open area. I think it will be set in a bar or café if in Japan. I guess that the wide space with good visibility may give a secure feeling for a race of hunters that has natural enemies.

  

パーティクルを使ったお花畑は自宅でも使ってますが、こんな大きいのは初めて見ました。
プリム数は一桁だったと思います。

I also have a flower garden using particles at my home, but this one is the largest I ever saw. I think it used only a couple of prims.




確認しようと数日後に行ったらもうなかった！　ときどき現れる蜃気楼なのかな。
今朝行ってみたら地形まですっかり変わっていました。工事中だったのか（＾－＾）

I visited a few days later to check it, but it was gone. Was it a fata morgana that can be seen rarely?　There was different land shape when I was there this morning. It might have been under construction.

  

アラブリゾートという名前のSIMにあった、沖の大きな岩から噴き出る滝。
砂漠の多い国では、ふんだんに溢れる真水は贅沢の象徴なのかも。雪原と氷山を置いてる中東SIMもありました。

This is a SIM named Arab Resort. There is a huge fountain on a big rock in the sea. The abundant fresh water could be a symbol of extravagance in countries of desert. Also there was a SIM setting a snow field and icebergs next to a desert.




中東にはきれいな噴水が多かったです。これは形も水の動きも素敵。噴水の真ん中でシルエットになってるのは私です（＾－）

There are many beautiful fountains in the Middle East. This one has beautiful water movement and trajectories. The black silhouette at the middle of the fountain is me.




ついでにナイヤガラ、ビクトリア、エンゼルフォールなど探してみたけど見つかりませんでした。
その代り滝屋さんがあった。お店なのでここでは紹介出来ませんけど、気軽に買えるお値段ではない（＾－＾）

Along the way, tried to fined Niagara, Victoria, or Engel Falls but failed to. Instead found a water fall shop. Cannot introduce it here since it is a shop, but the price is not at ease to pay.

  

アラブ首長国連邦にあった巨大なクルーザー。中には客間やジャグジから、バー、映画館、ダンスホールまである。
トップデッキの手前に立っている私から大きさを想像してください。
でも全部で226プリムしかない！　ということは装着型で実際に走らせることが出来るのかな。

A huge cruiser at UAE SIM. Please imagine the size by comparing it to me standing on the top deck. There are guest rooms, Jacuzzi, bar, movie theater and ball room, but it has only 226 prims. It means that this could be worn and sailed out.




1SIM全部使った街。建物だけで中には家具もあまりなく、店もない。何のために作ったのか、それとも作りかけ？　
手前のクルーザーはどれも226プリムで出来てる。でも外海には繋がっていないので、どこへも行けないよね。

The town is using full one SIM, but there are little furniture in the buildings and no shop. What is this town for, or is it under construction? The ships are all made within 226 prims, but there is no open sea to sail out around this SIM．

  

ヨルダンには遺跡が沢山あります。ここはジェラシュの街のゲラサ遺跡。中東で最も重要でよく保存された古代ローマ時代の街だそうです。
ジェラシュは今ヨルダンで２番目に人気のある観光地だって。一番はぺトラ遺跡かな？

There are many historical ruins in Jordan. This is Jerash that is known for the ruins of the Greco-Roman city of Gerasa. It is considered as one of the most important and best preserved Ancient Roman cities in the east.　The Jerash city is now the second-most popular tourist attraction in Jordan. 夜設定にするとライトアップされた遺跡が、観光旅行ムードを作ってくれます。夜だん、なんて（＾－）

With the night setting, the ruin under a light provides me with some feeling of an overseas trip.

  

Kuwaitで検索すると、中東のSIMが沢山ヒットします。これは超モダンな街と古風なバザールの間にある断層。
何を表現しようとしたのでしょう？　現代と伝統？　貧富の差？　ギラギラと輝くギャップには何かパワーを感じます。

There are many Middle East SIMs found by searching with the word “Kuwait”. This is a gap between an ultra-modern town and a traditional bazaar. What is the meaning? Is it a gap between modernism and tradition, or rich and poor? I could feel some power from the harshly bright gap.




道路も分断されているけど、反対側はゴミの溢れるスラムではなく、清潔そうな市場が。

The road is also separated, but the other side is not a dirty slum but a rather clean market.




半地下になったマーケットの中の、のんびりと休憩出来るスペース。全体におおらかというか、ゆったりした感じ。
右はポスターで見たとてもきれいなひと。SLでもいろいろな顔があるのが面白いですね。
私も真似したくて、スキンのデモを沢山貰ってきたけど、基本から整形しないとお化粧だけではだめでした（＾－）　

There was a resting space in a semi basement of the market. It is an easygoing or relaxing atmosphere here. The right is a beautiful woman in a poster. It is interesting to see so many different faces also in the SL. I tried to be like this and took back many sample skins, but they did not work without thorough facelift.　

  

皇帝が愛姫ムムターズ・マハルのために22年かけて作ったそうです。白大理石の白タジと、川を隔てて黒大理石の黒タジが橋で結ばれるはずだった。
でも黒タジは未完成のまま皇帝は位を追われ、晩年はタジ・マハルを眺めては泣いていたとか・・・
SLでは、白タジの隣りに黒タジもちゃんと出来ていて、SL観光名所になってるみたいです。

Taji Mahar was built by an emperor who was grief-stricken when his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal died. It took 22 years to build it. In the original plan, there were White Taji by white marbles and Black Taji by black marbles standing next to each other connected by a bridge over a canal. But the emperor was ousted from his position and was weeping his life away watching White Taji.
The Black Taji was completed in the SL and became one of the famous sightseeing spots in the world.




月光のタジ・マハルが最高だそうですけど、夕方や朝日に映えるのも素敵です。
光は「世界」→「環境の設定」→（夕方、正午などを選ぶ）→「環境編集」→「空の高度な設定」→「ライティング」→「東の角度」「太陽／月の位置」と調整します。
（これは古いバージョンの場合＾－＾）

It is said that the Taji in the moonlight is the best, but it is also beautiful under the evening or morning sun. To adjust the sunlight, crick “World”, “Environment Settings”, “Environment Editor”, and select desirable time (Sunrise, Midday, Sunset, or Midnight), and “Advanced Sky”, “Lighting”, and then adjust the “East Angle” and “Sun/Moon Position”. (This is for an old viewer)




その他にもいろいろ環境の編集項目がありますが、特殊効果を出すのでない限りこれ以外はそのままの設定で十分だと思います。

There are more adjustable items in the environment editor but I think those are not necessary if you do not want to get special effects.




黒タジの塔を結ぶつり橋の上から見る白タジ。愛姫のためのお墓ということもあってか、カップル用のポーズボールもあります。
白タジの中はダンスホールになってます。

The White Taji from the suspension bridge on the Black Taji. May be because of that the Taji was for the beloved princess, there are some pose balls for couples. The inside of the White Taji is a ball room.




つり橋は手すりのロープがあるからと安心して歩いていたら、落ちた！　
連休が終わったけど、その間ウロウロしてた写真が溜まってますので、まだしばらく旅行気分にお付き合いください（＾－＾）

Walked around on the bridge thinking it was safe since there are handrails, but fell down. The consecutive holidays are over, but there are still a lot of blog drafts of overseas trip done by the period. Please get together with them for a while.

  

ピラミッドをサーチして飛んで来たら最初にここへ到着したので、変な場所だなと思った。
視界512mの威力はSIM全体が見渡せることですね。SIMひとつ256mだから、左右2個、合計12個以上のSIMが見える。

When I was searching a pyramid, the LM brought me here at the first time, and I thought this as a strange place. A merit of the draw distance of 512m is to have a bird’s eye view of a full SIM.　Since one SIM is 256m, it is possible to look around more than 12 SIMs.




同じ構造を並べただけの安直？なつくり。一応お店になっていて、いくつかは売ってるのですけど、靴とか、腕時計とか結構高い。
これもお店だから紹介しちゃいけないんだよね（＾－＾）

Easy construction by setting the same simple structure repeatedly. This is a shopping mall at the least and some shops are open, but they are rather expensive such as shoes or watches. Also it will be prohibited to introduce a shop here.

  

万里の長城に刺激されて、ピラミッドを探しました。
あまり大きくなかったけど周囲は飛行禁止。歩いて登りました。下に見えるのはエジプトの町かな。

Quested a pyramid after seeing the Great Wall. This one is not so huge. Flying is prohibited at that area so I climbed up by foot all the way. The town below could be a Menphian city.




内部は墳墓になっていて、棺も安置されています。上に乗っている犬（アヌビス）はとてもきれいに作ってありました。

There is a burial chamber inside and a coffin is set at the middle. The dog (Anubis) sitting on is of very fine make.




このアヌビスは外で買うことが出来ます。エジプト学者のキチマルさんなら、自宅に置くかも（＾－）　右はネコ（パステト）。
最近は海外を出歩くときはこのアバを使っています。ひとりでふらふらしていても何となく安心感がある。SL始めたころは人が来ると逃げてました。

This Anubis is on sale outside the Pyramid. Kichimaru the Egyptologist may put this in his yard. The right is a cat (Pastet). Recently I am using this avatar when strolling abroad. It gave me some kind of security feel with this avatar. In the early days in SL, I used to chicken out when someone is coming close.
