UWA アート
西オーストラリア大学の創立100周年記念イベントのひとつの3Dアートコンテストが開催されています。
来客用のイベントがあります。8月5日に審査結果が発表されますが、トップ10を予測し的中した人には総額10,000Ｌ＄の賞金が！
誰でも参加できます。ノートカードに10位までを予測して7月末までに提出するのだそうです。詳細は以下のページに！

A 3D art contest is now on for the hundred anniversary of University of West Australia. There is L$10,000 Audience Participation Event. Everyone is asked to view the artworks and give top 10 artworks, list them and send a notecard to Jayjay Zifanwe. The three participants whose order comes closer to the final order decided by the judging panel will win for themselves L$5,000, 3,000, and 2,000 each.
Tyrehl Bykの「風になって」。
リングから噴き上げる風に包まれたドームの中に入ると、沢山の針が飛び回っています。
“To Be The Wind” by Tyrehl Byk. In the dome that you will be surrounded with wind coming out of a ring, there are many needles flying around.
針はタッチすると爆発したり糸や光を吹き出します。今回は変化するアートが多いみたい。
By touching the needle, it will blow out color and light. There are many arts that change the shape this time.
これも変化するトリックアート、Selavy Ohの「お静かに！」
一見何もないようですが、前に立ってチャットするとその文字が半透明のキューブになって頭上に現れます。
しばらくするとバラバラになって落ちてくる。かなり長い文章も表示され、上の階を突き抜け空の上まで伸びました。
でも「お静かに」（＾－＾）
This one is also a changing art, “Silence, please” by Selavy Oh. At the first glance there is nothing, but if you make chat while standing in front of it, the words are displayed with semitransparent cubes above your head. They will collapse after a while. It can make a long sentence that passes through the second floor and stands high up in the air. But “Silence, please”.
Barry Richezの「イマジネーション」
海辺の絵なのですけど、背景と像が様々に変化します。
“Imagination” by Barry Richez. This is a picture set on a beach. The subject and background are changing variously.
絵の前が砂浜になっていて、波がかかると何かの形が見える。Ctl+Alt+Tで透明部分を可視化しました。
このコマンドはアルファチャンネルを含むオブジェクトを見えるようにするので、透明のものを見失ってしまったときに便利です。
赤い渦に青い宝石の付いた飾りは、手、首、腕、胴、足などに嵌っていることがわかります。
中身を見てしまうのはアーティストさんに失礼かもけど、名画や彫刻をX線で見ちゃうこともありますからね（＾－）
There is a sandy beach in front of the picture and there may be some figure on the water’s edge that reveals some shape when the water gets on. So I make the shape visible by Ctl+Alt+T. This command is convenient to find a transparent object when you lose it. It is seen that the red spiral with blue jewelries on both ends are worn on hands, neck, body, and foot. It may be out of manor to see inside of the art, but it could be accepted since sometimes X-ray is used for famous paintings or sculptures.
