影
Yanaさんのブログで紹介のあったグラン・プラスへ行きました。「ヤナの世界」は、いつも素敵な景色を見せていただいています。
ここは世界一きれいな広場と言われる場所。影の練習をしました。

Visited Gland Place that was introduced by Yana. "The world of Yana" is a cool blog introducing many beautiful spots. This place is said to be the most beautiful square in the world. I practiced shooting shadows.
これはよく使ってる夕日のセッティング。陰影がよく出るのですが、色調が単純になってしまいます。
テクスだけの建物だと陰影が出ませんけどね（＾－）

This is sunset setting that I am using often. It is good to get shades but the coloring becomes monotonous. The shade is not depicted when buildings are made with texture only.
市庁舎の塔の上、天使ミシェル像の横に座って見下ろす広場。
この塔は実際は96ｍあるそうですけど、ここのは67ｍしかなかった。
From top of the city hall, sitting next to the statue of Michelle. This tower should be 96m in height but this one has only 67m.
影のさす広場へ降りました。この広場は2年に一度の8月に、花びらがびっしり敷き詰められるときがあるそうです。今年もある！
Went down to the place in the shadow. This square will be covered entirely with numerous flower petals, in August every two years. It will be held this year!
影は意外とはっきり出ます。日向と日蔭にちょっと旅情を感じたりして・・・
影を出すには、編集→環境設定→表示→Lighting & Shadows、時刻と太陽の位置を調整します。
The shadow is unexpectedly clear. The sunshine and shadow touch the heart of a traveler… To get the shadow, Edit-Preferences-Graphics, then check on Lighting & Shadows.
