TEMIのセカンドライフ

Primtingsは、Primed Painting Museum（プリムで作った絵画の美術館）です。絵画を立体的に作って中に入れるようにしたもの。
Dekka Raymakerの「ゴッホの寝室」　SLで一般的なテクスチャを使って表現したのだそうで、隣にはテクスを除外したプレーンなものもありました。
立体化した絵はRLにもありますけど、中に入って座れるのは少ないでしょう。でもそれをまた平面のSSに撮る、という変なことになっちゃった（＾－＾）

Primitings is a museum of primed paintings, where three dimensional arts that are made with prims. This is Gogh's "Vincent Room" by Dekka Raymaker. He said this was made using generally available textures in SL. There is another set that removed all textures. There are some 3D arts that figured famous paintings in RL, but very few that let audiences come in and sit on. But I did a queer way to take SS to get two-dimensional picture again.




Solkide AuerのMC エッシャー「相対性」　
折角SLで作ったのだから、重力場も偏向させて横向きの階段も歩けるようにして欲しかった。

MC Escher's "Relativity "by Solkide Auer. Now that this was done in SL, It would be better if the gravitational field was skewed and let avatars walk on the stairs sideways.




レンブラント「解剖学講義」を元にしたNahasa Singhの「素人解剖講義」
作者のコメントの一部、「SLのアートは陰気で悲しいものが多い。私は面白いことが欲しい。何も知らない不気味な連中に解剖される位面白いことってあるか？」　
手術用の病衣を持ってなかったので看護婦の格好しましたが、ちょっと変だな。

Based on Rembrandt's "Anatomy Lesson" byNahasa Singh, "Lesson of Anoobtomy". The last part of the artist's comments, "…these works usually paint a world of melancholy and sadness. I wanted fun. And what could be funnier than being autopsied by a group of creepy noobs?" I did not have cloth for operation so I wore nurse uniform, but it looked strange.




AM Radioのジャック・ルイ・ダヴィッド「マラーの死」　
ポーズがセットされてますが、刺殺された革命家マラーは男性ですから私では位置が合わなかったので少し修正しました。

Jacques-Louis David, "The Death of Marat" by AM Radio. A pose ball was set but the stubbed revolutionist Marat was a male, so I did not fit the position and I modified a little.




ロビーに置いてあってタイトルがありませんでしたが、作者はUb Ifu、ロダンの「接吻」がベースでしょう。
107プリムも使っていますがつなぎ目がなめらかで原作より柔らかい感じになっています。メッシュでなくてもこんなきれいな形が出来るんですね。

This was set at loby and I did not find the title, but the artist is Ub Ifu. The base could be "La baiser" by Rodin. This isusing 107 prims that are connected smoothly and creating softer feeling than the original. Such a beautiful can be done without using 'mesh'.




この美術館は2008年設立。寄付と支援者によって賄われ、2010年は活動してたようですが現在はよくわからない。
将来はRLにも３次元化した絵画の美術館を建てたいという夢があったようです。

Tis museum was edtablished in 2008 and suported by artists and patrons. They seemed to be active in 2010, but I cannot see how it is now. One of their dream goals is, in RL, to be able to create an entire museum of 3D recreations of 2D paintings.
