サンドボックス
「大学」と名前がつく場所には、SLを始めたひとのためのガイドや、サンドボックスが付属してる所が多いです。
ここ、Kamimo Education Islandは、ノルウェーのモルデ大、スエーデンのカルマー大、アメリカのミズーリ大の３校が共同で購入。
外部にデザインを委託し、2007年にオープン。大学の活動は2009年に停止していますが、サンドボックスはまだ使われているようです。
Many places named as university have a tutorial process or sandbox for SL newbie. This one, Kamimo Education Island is for three universities, Molde University College (Norway), University of Kalmar (Sweden), and University of Central Missouri (USA). These two SIMs were purchased on June 2007, and the design was outsourced. Major activities stopped in 2009, but the sandbox may be used even now.
教室らしきものもあり、教育者は使用を申し込むことが出来ました。実際に講義が行われたようです。
There is a kind of class room and it can be reserved for educational purpose, and there might have been some lectures.
こちらはベトナムのデュイタン大学。RLではベトナムで最初に出来た４つの私立大学のひとつだそうです。
大学の教育訓練部門が管理するSIMで、大学教育の目標がパネルになっています。
This is Duy Tan University of Vietnam, one of the first four private universities in RL Vietnam. This SIM is managed by Ministry of Education & Training of the university. There is a board explaining the mission of the university.
ここもサンドボックスが中心になっています。教室も一つありますが、椅子のポーズは乱れたままです。作りかけで中断してしまったのか。
いずれにしても、大学がブームだったのは2007年ころのSL成長期で、活動は2009 年ころに終わってしまったのかも？ ちょっと来るのが遅すぎた（；；）
This one is also a sandbox as the major part. There is also a class room, but sitting pose balls are left out of position. This one seems to be stopped before completion. In any case, the most active stage of universities is in the progressive era of SL around 2007, and they may have declined by 2009. I might be too late to come.
